- Ryder gets his chance again (though on Line 4C), back in the lineup thanks to Tenderness' "upper body injury" from the Flyers game;
- Also still on the limp are Bégin & Smols, but Huet will at least be on the bench. Goodbye Halak, we hardly knew ye;
- Mats Sundin is in the top 10 in league scoring. The top Hab (Kovy) is 53rd;
- On the other hand, Habs PP best in the league, Leafs 27th.

It's nice they scored and all, but it's hard to get excited given the Leafs tend to come back in the 2nd, Toskala's been lights out in the third, and the Habs have had, shall we say, difficulties maintaining leads. Keep it up in the second, guys. And for the love of god, don't let the crowd start chanting the "OLE" song with a one-goal lead.

I'm really sad that I had to take a final last night and miss this game. If I hadn't had a Saturday night final, I would have been sitting at home on the couch watching the Habs destroy Leafs in high def...but noooo. My professors at Willamette have mostly never heard of hockey and wouldn't move the final. Jerks.

ReplyDeleteand for the record i watched the game on RDS, with the exception of Coach's Corner, because Grandpa Simpson makes me laugh. I generally love the CBC, but not when it means i have to endure Bob Cole and fuckin Harry Neale. besides, i have to pay extra for RDS in southwestern ontario, so i intend to get my money's worth.
