BGL continues to fight using words rather than fists

Several lap dances to FHF regular copyranter for shooting us this tip. Noted vegetarian (really?) Big Georges Laraque participated in a Concordia anti-fur demonstration over the weekend. If you can't get Pam Anderson, I guess BGL is the next best thing.

You know, I thought he was a real waste of money this year, but he's totally making up for it off the ice.

  1. Too bad the Habs players faces no longer have playoff fur.

  3. Well, the PETA affiliation explains BGL's overly gentle treatment of Lucic. He was never going to do anything worse than tag his ear and release him back into the wild.

Up til the last 10 minutes or so, I thought Sid had the best of it... and then Ovie freakin' exploded. That guy is amazing.

Also - what the fuck is up with Malkin? I wouldn't even have known that he played tonight if he hadn't taken that dumbass penalty that cost them the game. That's twice in two years that he's disappeared after the first round. Joe Thornton in the making?

Watching Varlamov kinda reminded me of Halak, and it made me sad.

Then again, if Malkin was invisible, Green was all too visible. Nick Lidstrom he isn't.

  7. PETA are not admirable in any way.

Now I want Laraque to be traded for two reasons.
