  • Just in case you were dead all day yesterday, you should know that Detroit dominated Game 5 Saturday night, winning 5-0. Datsyuk played, at about maybe 80%, but that was more than good enough. Sid and Geno decided to take stupid penalties instead of scoring. That was not too bright.
Not much else is happening in the hockey world. Is it too late to start a Formula One and strippers blog?

    There's a line between personal jackassery and actual critical editorial debate-worthy press. Jack(ass) Todd falls with the one closer to his name. Sometimes I wonder if our team has any support from the press at all (I think Boone is the only one) instead just content with fueling the fire for the local trolls...

    If one were to rank all the occupations where you earn a living from the English language, "sports journalist for the Gazoo" would fall somewhere between "Washing machine user guide writer" and "Press secretary for Paris Hilton".

    Given the stupidity that comes out of Paris Hilton's mouth on a regular basis - not that I follow this sort of thing - it would be pretty disturbing to think that some press secretary was actually thinking up, then writing, some of it down...
