We get Dominic Moore for a 2nd round pick in 2011, we shipped Ben Maxwell down to Hamilton, and The Subbanator gets called up (w00t!). And then there are all those Dagger and Weber to L.A. for Frolov rumours, which have yet to come true;
- We've got a shakedown in the Northeast. Ottawa beats the Caps by the same score we did, and Buffalo loses. The Ottawa fucking Senators are back in first place. Oy;
- The Bs beat the Bolts and so somehow the Habs are still holding on the 6th in the East;
- Two goals for the Little Fuckity-fuck in a Stars win.

I fuckin' hate that barber pole too. Did we ever win anything when we wore that ceremonial bullshit uniform?...so tonight - we need another 30 shots, at least 1 decent fight to wake some of thos bitches (on our team!) up and a decent performance in the nets by whomever gets the nod. My new "plan d'action" is to support whichever goalie is in the nets as long as he is playing well. We've got two good goalies who, if they play well, can get us into the playoffs. No sense knocking one over the other, because with our luck, the one who's hot will get injured.

ReplyDeleteYep, I'll file that one under overpay. Huet brought a 2nd rounder, Zednik brought a third rounder, Mike Johnson came our way with a fourth-round pick for a full year. A 20 game rental of Hockey Punch Player seems a bit thin to pay a second-rounder for.
ReplyDeleteThough, in Gauthier's defense, Moore got a second-rounder at the deadline last year (Toronto -> Buffalo).
I think we got extra second rounders in 2011. Gauthier just burned one up for a proven NHLer down the stretch. No worries. can't wait to see how P.K. plays tonight. Fuck Bob Clarke and the horse he rode in on.
