  1. TEKSAVEEEEEE!!!!

Gilmour should make it. He's a way better player than some of the fuckers in there now. Clark Gillies, I'm looking in your direction! Hell, Cam Neely too.

  2. So glad for The Cube.

I sort of wanted him back when the Habs were blown up last season...

  3. "What does an NHL president do exactly?"

Beats me but here's this from the globe:

“The role of the president is a special position,’’ said owner Jeremy Jacobs. “The president has the responsibility for carrying the torch of the team. I can’t think of anybody better to pass that torch to than Cam Neely.’’

    ReplyDelete
  4. Of course, Jacobs is so cheap, he's making Neely pay for his own lighter to light the torch.

Or I could have gone with:

Don't give the torch to Lucic. He hasn't discovered fire yet and it will just freak him out.

    Or: Chara. Frankenstein. Fire Bad!

Man, it's going to be a long offseason.

agree re: the cube. good signing for the preds and i'm glad he got a pay raise and two years. he ain't a superstar but he's a hard-working heart and soul guy who you want on your team.

and he'll always be my hero for dropping tucker in one punch.

  6. HF10: Low effort outing, but I don't blame you.

I can arrange for some Tyler Seguin highlights to pass the offseason hours if you'd like...

The Leafs who have traded away all draft picks until 2016 might want to switch to Carolina, it would be a feelgood moment, every few decades even leaf fans deserve one.

  9. I realize the 'vuvuzela' meme may have already run its course and apologize if I am too late to game, but I cant remember such an exiting word to enter my vocabulary since.... 'fucktard' I suppose

wv: I cant wait until vuvuzela meets its arch-rival ekaddor!

  10. @Bill 101

I don't know, 'ekaddor' doesn't sound as sexy...

    wv:diviogi > ekaddor

  11. That is wrong about Doug Gilmour! I know he played for the HABS for 2 seasons but he will always be remembered as a Leaf.

I remember being at the all-star game in Montreal. And some stupid kid sitting in the stands near me was saying "Look Ma, its Gilmour" over and over again. The boy was wearing a Leaf shirt.

    That was so annoying.

  12. There is some real hockey speculation to be done. Who will Habs take a 27, will he speak French. Count Chocula is looking for anything French for the PP.

Brock Nelson, Tyler Pitlick, Jaden Schwartz, Ryan Spooner, Jarred Tinordi and Jordan Weal.

I picked these names myself from the Yahoo page. If I could speak French I would have Gaineys job.

"le Canadien obtiendrait en retour les attaquants Lars Eller et Ian Schultz.

  21. This is bullshit.

Halak to the Blues for players I've never even heard of? Hell of a move, PG!

    No pick. No center. Nada.

This is not what I had in mind when I said I was anxious for some moves. Sigh.

  22. Doesn't surprise me that the Habs got relative unknowns for him. Halak's a great goalie, but he's RFA, and he's definitely going to go to arbitration if they QO him. Plus, TSNBobMckenzie says that the KHL has been sniffing around. Can you imagine negotiating contracts with a guy who could just jump ship at any moment?

  23. Plan the Riot!
    Halak to the Blues?
    One more season before everybody-
the Goat and Trevor- get canned.
Unless they got a pick, too.

    WV- demove

    This is not demove.

  25. Anyone remember the post I made about drafting a big boy from the WHL who can fight and score 21G 31A and 50 PIMs...this Ian Schultz looks to be that man. And Eller was 13th pick three years ago. Im interested now.

  26. Sorry 150 PIMs I'm drooling.

  27. dammit this was supposed to be a quiet day of watching France suck.

new post is up for your discussion purposes

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kind of reminds me of what Reggie Houle got for Saint Patrick, except there's no goalie coming back.

So, Eller is a center, but is he tough enough to go up against the PHuckin PHlyers?

    Looks like Pleky's gone...

wv = Pleky, you are "dismsh" ed.
