It's All About Burnsie

Habs v. Leafs, 7pm, Hockey Night In Canada.

How appropriate.

Enjoy the game, just like a certain former coach of both teams.

As if either team needed any more motivation for tonight. Should be a good one. And we'll get back to ripping the Leafs next time, we promise.

  1. Lots of current Habs played under Burns with the Devils and Bruins.

    GYFH!

  2. It's about the only thing the Leafs have done right in 43 years. I'm sure Burnsy will be pullin' for the Habs tonight!

  3. I'm back BitCHes! Way too much travel, done for now except for a drive to Quebec city and a day flight into the hell that is the 416/905.

RIP Mr. Burns a real gentleman, you will be missed, SLAINTE!

OK PHucking system at work still won't let me get the WV up so I can post from the office, looking for a new job....

Seeing some great GG work and witty comments by all (yes I mean you too orangie)but not able to post!

Sweet sweetness, Habs on a tear while I was away culminating in a TFS performance (predicted by yours truly)that stonewalled the PHucktards.

I had two in Desjardins club for PHucktards and was called to a last minute dinner meeting as new corporate CFO decided to fly in from the big lemon the night before and PHuck that up for me (Laffs conspiracy 4shur)anyway they were not wasted.

The let down to the Predetards was to be expected.

So now the next two games loom PHUCKEN' LARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for the boys to show their mettle (or in my case metal).

Our farther who art in heaven hollowed be the name GYMFHG, Amen.

  4. it takes a Pat burns for FHF to be respectful for a day or two. i like it

    GYFH

  5. I hope Pat is cheering for the Habs tonight, the team who gave him his start in the NHL.

So, the score tonight will probably be 3-0 for somebody.

Fuck, I'm gonna start drinking just in case the Habs are on the wrong end of the deal. Don't want to go to bed depressed.

  6. Rest in peace, Mr. Burns. Thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.

Won't be able to catch the game tonight. Have fun without me!

    GYFHG!!!

    P.S. I smell a win.

  7. I'm sure Pat's rooting for a close, hard fought game

  9. well done front office, as always

    ReplyDelete
  10. 30 seconds of bob cole was all i could take. rds for me

    ReplyDelete
  11. What was up with Toronto fans cheering during the tribute video any time the Leafs logo was shown? Are they really that tactless?
    /rhetorical

    ReplyDelete
  12. 29 knows, cole is unbearable. Thought he retired.

    ReplyDelete
  13. if we have one of those nights where we buzz the net constantly but can't score i'm gonna freak out

    ReplyDelete
  14. was Komo always that afraid to take the hit?
guess it's good thing he bailed

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ugh, looks like AK is committed to having another herp-derp night. That's two terrible giveaways already.

    ReplyDelete
  16. a shorty may be our best chance to score right now

    ReplyDelete
  17. Go fuck yourself don cherry you sick fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  18. what'd he say moe? thankfully i missed it

    ReplyDelete
  19. He said that Mike Richards is an established and respected captain and that he's right to insinuate that PK is uppity and deserves a cheap shot.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Fuck you Don Cherry you fucking moron pretty hard being a fucking no-calss laffs homey asshole!

    gyfh mulch some fucking lafffs

    ReplyDelete
  21. Same old rip on PFK, re-piling on. Bonus, he says he's known PFK since he was 14 but called him 'oh what's his name'. NB - cherry made sure to cut off any Pat Burns praise and praise his praised kadri.

  22. Wonder if mclame is mind-reading auger tonight.

  23. I've stopped watching CBC. they've just become ridiculous.

  24. Homey Night in KanataNovember 20, 2010 8:12 pm

lucky you missed it 29, it was scary, He was sinister with all the 'he's going to get it' innuendo. I mean PK is going to get it and fuckwads who can't even play like ott, and carcillo should 'get it'? Yeah and he strained himself trying to uplift Mike Prickchards as a pinnacle of hockey dignity. He also called PK a "good little hockey player".

    ReplyDelete
  25. you're sure about that scoring thing, right moe?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I really like the way Eller has been playing

    ReplyDelete
  27. He's pretty cocky himself for a commentator. Maybe something oughta happen to him. Preferably from behind. Involving some form of cockiness.

    ReplyDelete
  28. we should take some penalties on purpose. only time the puck goes in

    ReplyDelete
  29. HTF were the Habs outshot in that period?

    ReplyDelete
  30. What a shit game, the laffs are so pathetic, they keep confusing the habs by passing them the puck all the time. Gomez thinks he is mexico, holy fuck mex, TFS and the laffs goalie and the usual suspects from the habs are the only NHL player out there tonite.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Almost forgot the leaf traded away Bernie Parent.

    ReplyDelete
  32. they're picking on our captain.
    whatever happened to respect?
oh right. we're talking about the leafs - cherry's team

    ReplyDelete
  33. bob cole has got to retire he is terrible

    ReplyDelete
  34. not sure what I loved more: Cammy on his knees or Komo's assistance
    hahahahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  35. "Everything is working out perfectly."

-Weird evil head of group who conspires for every game to end 3-0

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hey Goat,

    Alex Henry is 6'6", 230lbs.

    Signed,

moe, who wants Henry to show mike richards some respect

    ReplyDelete
  37. @29, the ghost of Pat Burns.

    ReplyDelete
  38. so close !!!
    would have been sweet

    ReplyDelete
  39. and another SO for Price

    ReplyDelete
  40. Was that GG who got another puck?!

    ReplyDelete
  41. good thing he's not keeping his SO pucks.
the way he's going he'd run out of room

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not the prettiest game, but I'll take it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Habs win.

    leaf loses.

    Life is good.

    ReplyDelete
  44. What doc moeman said. The kind of game to make ol' Burns proud.

    ReplyDelete
  45. RDS briefly speaks about Price; mention Komi's pass and then spend 10 min on Madmax and Pouliot

    ReplyDelete
  46. Brutal beats horribly brutal, if it had not been for all the beautiful leaf passes and breakdowns no one would have scored. Great game by Gill, and beauty trademark goal by Squid. Nice to see Lego get a shot at center, and I think Weber got a shift or it was one of the few time Cole said a players name other than Beachmen or Tits, if you were only listening you would think there were only two players and goalies on the ice.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @bea, they are now praising Picard.

    Time to rename;

    Brian Gionteau

    Scott Gomèze

    Hall Gilles

    Jaro C'estpasassezsec

    Roman Hamrlickemoi

    Josh Georges

    Jeff Halpernaud

    P.K. Sousbanc

    Carey LePrix

    ...

    ReplyDelete
  48. As I said last Friday, if they have to lose, I'd rather it be to teams like the Predators than the fuckin' laffs.

The Gibsons Sterling really, really helped me get through that game. Only a goal post away from the 3-0 prediction.

    Ole!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Nice response game. Is this how it's gonna go? Get shutout, then shutout someone yourself. I can deal with that, I think.

Ron Wilson is pissed his iPad doesn't work in the Bell Center.

And with this win, Pat Burns totally smiled.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Some CotU rag said wilson's iPad ran Mac OSX. It runs iOS you dumb fucks.

    ReplyDelete
  51. To bad the laffs dont have an operating system, it got to be hard to play against a team that plays hockey like a dog chasing cars. No matter how bad any of our guys plays the rest of the year, they will still be twice as good as Kommisuck.

    ReplyDelete
  52. make your way over to nhl.com/vote

Carey isn't even in the top 18, you have to write him in for the All-star game.

    ReplyDelete
  53. At this rate, Carey may go to the ASG without our votes.

After all, that's just for the fans to vote the starting lineup. Then again, the team Captains might not pick him......

I'd rather see him take a break though. Send Cammy! Send Pleky! Send Gio! Send PK? PK in the skills competition would be siiiiiiiiiiick.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Squid, Gio, Plex, TFS, Vodkov and Subbinator submitted to the all star voting.

    ReplyDelete
  55. 1. TRIPLE LOW FIVES ALL AROUND!!!

    2. No. 1, bitCHes!!!

    3. One down, one to go. Can't wait for the Als to beat some Argonaut ass tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Great night out. I've said this before, but as a Hab kid growing up in Leaf country this is a personal victory whenever it happens, as HF10 will tell you. With Burnsie in spirit, well...

Great night out. Things are and were and will be. But...great night out tonight.

And the good guys won. Like a movie.

    ReplyDelete
  57. All-Star Game would prefer goalies players can score on. Like Luongo.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Komodousarik deserved a star for his assist on Cammy's goal. Did we thank Burke enough for signing him? The funniest comment all night was when they mentioned it was Burke's 1000th game as a GM and said any team would be glad to have him. Really after all he's done for Tarranna?
