ReplyDeleteOut of all of the comments I expected at FHF when I sent 29 this picture, never thought I'd read ones about my manicure!! I thought about re-taking it, but by then I was skating around again (and didn't want the Bell Centre mafia to come after me). Didn't think anyone would notice. Laughing my ass off here - can't put anything past you guys, can I?
ReplyDeleteYes, Anon and Kmaxx - my manicure was chipping on my index finger. I hadn't had time to fix it between a 60-hour work week and 15 hours of rehearsal. Rest assured that I took my nail polish off last night when I got home and now have a fresh mani on my nails.
I sincerely regret any trauma that the sight of an unmanicured nail may have caused any of my beloved commentors to feel. :)
@Stinky - I do the same for our dear PM's residence as well due to its unfortunate tenant. They should really get some kind of rent control policy to ensure that unsavory persons aren't allowed to take up residence therein.
ReplyDelete@LG, there are very good PTSD programs now, so I'm sure we'll all manage with time. So what brought you to the Bell Centre ice surface? Were your rehearsals for a new role as a Habs Ice Girl? If so, methinks that the brass won't appreciate it if you flip the bird to 21,173 patrons.

ReplyDeleteL12 - season ticket holders get to skate around Bell Centre for 45 minutes, followed by free hot dogs and entry to Habs Hall of Fame. A fun way to end the season.
@LG77 - damn, I guess that means no Habs ice (le)gals.
