Though not a 'nucks fan I have no strong feelings whatsoever towards them, so ....let's get the cup back in Canada where it belongs, causing more displeasure in the COTU and support the mantra for these finals : Die Broonz Die!

It's June 1st and the weather is finally getting warmer and sunnier as yesterday was beautiful and Saint John celebrated the Memorial Cup victory.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm done watching hockey for this season. That being said, I hope Vancouver destroys those asswipes from Boston. I'll check in here daily so keep me posted.

ReplyDelete@Mr. N - I am with you on this - let's lend whatever support the 'nucks need to bring the Cup back to Canada. Apart from that I'm kinda meh about the whole thing. I like that Gill will be back for a year. and with both TFS and PFK going into contract years, I'm already jazzed about the season ahead. But for now, I'm just gonna go jump in the pool and chill!

Yes, I somewhat feel bad for Atlanta...I know they only had like 5000 fans every game but I can't help but feel for them. They were there supporting the team.

On top of it, we will play them 4 times next season since they will be in our conference! Then they are transfered to the west...Which means, one western team needs to move, right? Phoenix Nordiques??

I feel bad for the seemingly only Thrasher fan. However, not to make light and perhaps it's the wrong example, but beeing a Thrasher fan is like beeing in an abusive relationship where you know you're being done wrong yet you want to believe and keep coming back.
