I think he learned some lessons this year, although I'm not sure he understands that Price just ain't ready yet.

We can blame injuries sure. But did anyone actually expect Lang to be the Habs leading scorer in Feb? He was supposed to be supplimentary, not the be all and end all. Did anyone expect Schneider to transform the team overnight like he did with the PP? I say we got lucky that those two did what they did to begin with.

Yeah, Tanguay going down was a bummer but in my opinion he was under producing already. Obviously Markov's injury was terrible.

The major difference from last year to this year was the PP. A goal here or there would have propelled the Habs to home-ice easily. Look at this series, they're oh-for whatever on the PP. A PP goal tonight in the 2nd could have won it for them.

Then you have the Tits and Pleks completely invisible the whole year. And of course the Habs were virtually injury-free last season.

That's all to say this version of the team isn't that different from last season's except with more injuries and no PP QB. What's the diff from going out in the 1st round this year or 2nd round last year? Major changes need to be made and hopefully this will be the kick in the ass that gets them done.orangemannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7320624876513568183.post-30843908541649637322009-04-20T23:12:00.000-04:002009-04-20T23:12:00.000-04:00@DP, you forget Patrick Roy.@DP, you forget Patrick Roy.moemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07714585748102791365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7320624876513568183.post-39634376006356869342009-04-20T23:10:00.000-04:002009-04-20T23:10:00.000-04:00its not about marketing, its all about appeasing t...its not about marketing, its all about appeasing the assholes in the media.
