Yes, I know, I don't watch The Fifth Estate either. But I will tonight.

Not even sure I should post this because it's not a hockey story. But it is a Habs story, so I would be remiss if I didn't say anything.

Tonight at 9 PM on CBC, The Fifth Estate has a special investigation into a possible cover-up in the death of Laura Gainey, Bob's daughter, lost at sea last year. Bob is interviewed, and says there is in fact a cover-up. I'll watch.

More from the CBC.

  1. Wow, that's such a sad story. Thanks for the heads up.

  2. Yup - the Fifth Estate is still great TV... although it's in a tough time slot at 9pm on a Wednesday.

I am also watching it.. as a Montrealer... a fan of Bob Gainey.. a father who couldn't imagine the pain of losing child like this.
