Well it's official. John Ferguson Jr. has been fired by the Tronna Leaves. Globe and Mail reports Cliff Fletcher will become interim GM.[insert multiple snide comments and Leafs Suck jokes here]
I am sure Battle of Ontario and Pension Plan Puppets and Loser Domi will cover this much better than us, so just go there. We've got a Bruins game to win.
I'm claiming victory here, I called Jan 1 back in NOv when everyone was giving them less than a week.

ReplyDeleteThats too bad, JFJ must have been the best Leafs GM. I can't remember seing them that low in the standings and going on a 3rd season out of the playoff.

Don't worry, Bob. I'm sure MLSE will find some way to 'help' the next GM to be all he can be. After all.. the Leafs are too important a property to be without some sort of veteran leadership from the board members.
