  2. in my cheap ploy to get a link from Deadspin (it worked!), I totally didnt say anything about, you know, the game. Hamr looks good to go (thank god), Kovy's ankle is hurting but he should play, and Gorges has the flu but is supposed to play too. TFS starts

and yours truly is going! BOOOOOOO [chugs beer], ok im warmed up

    A. You guys are hilarious!

    B. Men who talk that much usually are putting up a front. The real weasels are the men who act respectful to the point of patronizing, but run around behind your back until you have no choice but to channel Lorena Bobbit.

(Besides, actions speak louder than words, and you don't treat the female visitors like airheaded bimbos, despite all the stripper pictures.) :)

Good luck, to you, your team, and your collective livers.

  4. Hmmm...Blatant ass kissing equals the keys to the Gawker kingdom. Noted.

All kidding aside, well earned and long deserved props gentlemen. If it didn't mean the almost certain axing of my DS commenter privileges, I'd be pimping FHF to the rafters. Hell, I might anyway.

  7. Kristin I am DYING with ironic laughter right now

  8. Oh, Lord! Kristin, if you're going to bail and be a "test fan" for another team at least go outside the division, preferably the Conference as well.

  9. Nah, Nadine, that'd be too easy! I don't hate any other teams!

  12. Jesus, someone tell me HF29 had the good sense to bring HF29Mom to the game ... the man's a jinx without her!

Okay, kids, here's to a good one that ends without any Habs blood being shed. I'll be back and forth ... stupid stone age set-up with the computer and tv's in different rooms!

  13. It's a roller-coaster of emotion so far. The Habs game is being aired in Western Canada, hooray! Cassie Campbell is on the Montreal broadcast team, argh! Saku takes a penalty, double argh! Cassie Campbell can't pronounce "Koivu"... huh?!

  14. Whew. So, that was fun, right?

  16. We kill of a 2 min 5 on 3 and their is silence on the thread??? Rise people!

  17. That was an impressive kill by the Habs. Too bad the refs didn't let Downie fight Komisarek.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yup Nadine that sums it up.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Jonesy, you big dumb over-grown puppy! Jeeeeeeeez!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Is it me or have the fans gone soft on Briere as the game has worn on?

    ReplyDelete
  21. HF33: I think you've realized that he's a -20 and no way does your team need that slacker mojo.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I know! 4th worst in the league!

    ReplyDelete
  23. wow, that may have warranted a replay.

    ReplyDelete
  24. You've got to be kidding me!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Who paid off the ref? That puck was still live!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Right. Good game guys. I'll be away tomorrow watching the game at the Wachovia Center.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, aside from the lousy reffing (I didn't catch who it was, but I'm guessing the head ref's name rhymed with "Smagoo") it was a pretty tense game. It's nice to see the Habs protect a lead AND preserve a shutout, although it would be nice if they maybe didn't give up so many shots, and if they get multiple open-net chances next game, maybe they could put one of them in, possibly.

It's nothing to sneeze at, however. Now, it's off to Vancouver-Edmonton to see who in the Northwest can choke harder.

  28. Whew. Couldn't leave the tv to chat at all ... I hate those types of games right up until the final siren.

Tomorrow in Philly is going to be nuts ... Price getting his third start in a row?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nadine: lucky! Enjoy the "Strikes Back" leg of this series.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Vegas just took the odds on a "Price is right", "Priceless" or other lame-ass Price headline tomorrow off the board. All hail TFS!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ottawa lost in regulation to New Jersey. :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Just home from the game and post-game drinking. woohoo!

Overall, not bad. Basically, score a goal and hang on for dear life. let TFS take care of business. a W is a W is a W...

    ReplyDelete
  33. holy shit baroque you're right. top of the East clusterfuck!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Soo... how's that 2nd round pick looking, Mr. Gainey?
