Today TMS is joke-free, as we report on the tragic death of Vancouver Canucks Defenseman Luc Bourdon, who died yesterday in a motorcycle crash, at the age of 21.
Anyone who is a fan of the World Juniors knows Bourdon, who helped lead Team Canada to gold in both 2006 and 2007. This was after being drafted 10th overall by the Canucks in 2005. He scored two goals and was a plus-7 in 27 games with the Canucks last season.
Sympathies to his family and RIP Luc.
