It'd be easy to be pessimistic about tonight. It's easy to say I hate Ryan O'Crap! It'd be easy to decide not to watch this game.
But I think I'll be optimistic. I see this as a turnaround game. A TSN Turning Point if you will. I think the team will play their best game of the season. A full 60 minute effort from everybody from Kovalev to O'Byrne. Maybe even 65 minutes plus shootout - which I see LilTits has won the honour of entering, winning the shootout event at practice. Good for him.
It's time for this team to start playing hockey. They are fortunate to have 26 points. It could easily be 16 the way they've played. But that changes now. We will see a new team tonight. A power play that functions well. A PK unit that can shut down the top PP in the league, and 4 lines that give 100%, nay 110% each and every shift!
Tonight we finally meet the team that so many pundits chose as contenders for the Holy Grail of Hockey!
