The Morning Skate for Monday, January 5th

Bullet points for what you missed while dreaming of winning a US Senate seat, if a little late...
  • Good news - Habs find a way to win. Bad news - Habs suck. 6-5 over the Panthers in a skills competition. More later;
  • There's no surprise when the Sens lose. We are not taking any glee from that anymore. We just feel sad;
  • Dallas over Nucks in another skills comp.
Don't forget the WJHC final tonight against Sweden. Consider the last post of the day as an open thread if you're so inclined. If it's half as good as the Russia game, it should be epic.

    Explain to me why the fuck the NHL would circulate rumors about a Bruins/LEAFS Winter Classic in the works?! What a freaking waste! It's like Gary Bettman hates me...
