Fuck politics, fuck language, fuck Québecor one last time. In this province, the only thing that matters is the Habs. Well, unless you're an old Nordiques fan.
Enjoy the holiday, my fellow Québecois. Maybe this is the day Vinny will come.
I saw Burke and Wilson in the streets of our fine MTL yesterday night. It was 9h30 and they were going back to their hotel. Had to use a lot of self restraint not to push them in front of a bus... The worst is that Burke is probably going to build a winning team.
it would be a great day to announce that Koivu has been re-signed.

ReplyDeleteGood one. I'm in favor of anything that pisses the element off.
am I the only one who doesn't really "feel it" on this day?
ReplyDeleteCrappy St Jean here too, my plans all fell through.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be an even better day to announce that we've traded Lapierre to the Leafs (Burke is reportedly interested in him).
Okay, now I just feel dirty. Laps wearing a Maple Leaf... not a good mental image.
I like Lappy.
ReplyDeleteApparently Burke wants to build a fighting team. Why not trade Laraque?
Burke is a greasy blowhard.

ReplyDeletenah, don't worry, that won't happen.
ReplyDeleteBurke will build a semi competent, tough team like he did in Vancouver. No Cup for TO.
ReplyDeleteThe leaf always wins the Cup, in October.
ReplyDeleteWF = underc, as in, someone please throw burke the blowhard underc the bus.
I would say that the Leafs' 5-year plan involves cornering the market on aging enforcers, but it's more like a 42-year plan...
