According to the cap number page, before these two guys got signed, Habs had over 8-million in cap space left. (They haven't updated yet). Now I'm guessing that's halved so there should be enough left for the RFAs, though I've no idea what ZombiePleks wants to be paid.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Metro is going to be waived/bought out (too bad, I like the guy), and Laraque will end up on the long-term injured reserve. That should allow us to sign all the RFAs (though it'll leave us uncomfortably close to the cap). I can't see Pleks being traded - we don't have anyone capable of playing that 2nd line centre position (maybe Squid, but he's gonna want first-line minutes and good linemates).
