- So apparently we have a pattern now. Carey lets up a bunch of goals one night then the "B" team comes back with a win the next night. Not sure how we feel about that. Andreas Engqvist scored in the Habs' 4-3 win over the Wild last night. PatCHes looked good and had two assists in his fight for a job, and Brandon Nash (who?) had 1G 1A. Gui! was a non-factor;
- Habs are right back at it tonight against the Panthers, and it's on RDS, so the whole province can see Carey fall apart;
- Who remembers El Dandy? Anyway, he's riding off into the sunset;
- Who remembers Swiss Mister? Anyway, he may be out 6 months;
- Hopefully The Bulin Wall took a cab to the arena to help beat the Canucks 8-2;
- Wade Redden was placed on waivers over the weekend. Didn't he used to be an elite defenseman?

Robert L. is leaving his blog Eyes On The Prize. I think many of us have been reading that blog and i believe it's worth mentionning. Not sure how you guys feel about it, but seing as how i discovered this blog thanks to him talking about it, i find it would only be fair we do a gesture for him somehow.

I don't know what to think about management, the media, Carey or anyone else. I'm hanging on to the fact that in his first game he let in half the SOG and in the second only a fifth. that's gotta be an improvement, right? RIGHT?

@29 - Yes, on the Team 990. Raving about how he would have kept both Price and Halak (this after saying that the cap makes it harder to keep players) and freaking out about how Gainey spent way too much on FAs last year and we're all screwed. Bitter.

ReplyDeleteI've been to Octoberfest, actually. I have a giant Bavarian hat sitting above my bedroom door right now along with a giant mug I, uh, borrowed from them. I've never told anyone this before, but I got so drunk I peed my bed which isn't so great in a 30 person dorm in a hostel. There's more to the story, mostly involving a punchy Irishman, but I wouldn't want to hijack the comments here. I'll just let you know when the book comes out.
Re: Habs. Pre-season. Meh. But I did finally get my, uh, totally legit and authentic Muller jersey I sent from Korea this past weekend. You know what I love about Muller? I don't have to talk about Price.
