ReplyDeleteSnapped a shot past the goalie with ablomb. He started to raise his hands in trimumph, and you could almost pinpoint the moment he realised he'd just scored on his own goalie, because instead of completing the raising of arms, he changed their direction and brought them to his (now anguished) face, while also falling to his knees. It was bloody hilarious.
As a bonus, I gather that was the game-winning goal that ensured Japan's relegation to the lower echelons of international hockey.
Long Island has an education system? I thought kids there learned everything they needed to know in their local mall's food court...
