In our daily search for "hockey babes" on YouTube, we came across this ad for the Gold Coast Blue Tongues, an Australian hockey team. Yes, they have hockey in Australia. I didn't know that either. Anyway, their marketing department has a bunch of clever mates. I am sure I've seen this around the interwebs before, so sorry if it's old. But it's new to us!
And sorry about the ending. To make up for that, here's Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr.

Not a huge fan of the bones protruding through the skin, but I'll not complain about your photo choice for SF.
I was thinking how the Gazette has the Chris Nilan shoplifting thing front and center. So I thought, hmm he's a Boston boy, I should check the Globe Sports.
Well, they have their front page stuff:
Red Sox
More Red Sox
British Open
Something about a new sports radio station.
Then there's the Specific Sports each with individual stories:
BASEBALL
bunch of stuff i don't care about
FOOTBALL
Patriots have signed 3 of there draft picks - GO PATS! I feel kind of dirty cheering for a Boston team, but when I was a kid I didn't realize that 'New England' meant Boston.
SOCCER
Beckham blah blah blah
GOLF
Shitload of stuff here.

I'd like to put forward Doutzen Kroes for next Friday. Or possibly everyday.
@Anon: Sounds German. Or Dutch. There would need to be something slightly German (or Dutch) related to hockey on or near that date. Or we could make something up if she's worth it.
Hey I was just on the hockeyfights.com site and came across this headline/article:
Canadiens Re-Sign Higgins and Komisarek
Friday, Jun. 15th, 2007
MONTREAL – Canadiens GM Bob Gainey announced Friday the signing of forward Christopher Higgins and defenseman Mike Komisarek to two-year contracts (2007-08, 2008-09).
“Christopher Higgins and Mike Komisarek are two of the young players we consider to be building blocks for the long term success of our team. Christopher is a complete player with great offensive skills who improved consistently since making his NHL debut. Mike displayed outstanding defensive poise over the past seasons and his physical presence is an undeniable asset to our group of defensemen” said Gainey.
The definition of long-term is certainly subjective I guess.
she's Dutch and she's alright
@Ldude - Bob is flexible
I have a picture of myself on Flickr where I'm standing in front of a poster of Max Pac and Lapierre, you know the ones they had hanging up between Bell Centre and Windsor Station. Anyway, for some bizarre reason I've gotten 18 hits on this picture today by way of someone searching on Google for "Maxim Lapierre family".
I then came here to see if maybe Max had murdered his family or something and instead found some Aussie boobies.
She can read me my Miranda rights anyday.
Also, WV = ferpress, as in its a simple translation of purelainepresse
