- Now without Dion Phaneuf for 4-6 weeks, the Leafs lose to the Caps in a shootout;
- The Flames are struggling (like the Habs?) and lose to the Wings;
- Tim Thomas, Bruins win, yada yada. Habs will lose that first place spot in the East any day now;
- Devils actually win a Non-Habs game for a change, though Marty left with an injury. Not serious though;
- Sidney got into a fight, but the Pens still lost to the Stars;
- Jovo had a hat trick? Apparently;
- There's some pissing match going on between Guy Boucher and Patrick Roy. Something about the Q being too defensive now, and it's all Boucher's fault. Whatevs;
- Perhaps that was a distraction to the Bolts, who lost;
- Max PatCHes wants to play the whole year in Hamilton. Uh, good for him?

"Another day without Habs hockey. Well, that's another day without a loss."
aptly reflects how I feel.
there came a period last winter when the Habs play was so dismal, I considered rescinding my RDS subscription as it was just too painful to watch and then they had an amazing playoff run!
moral of the story? I may have to start reconsidering getting rid of RDS. (or is it too early in the season?)
It could be worse. You could be one of the HIO system administrators.
wv: When my back is sore I could use a "rubdoccr".
Buffalo is last in the East. Does this mean they'll be good and ready to kick ass on Friday?
Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer but this is what happens when you start off the season in first place. Nowhere to go but down.
Watch them win both games this weekend just to screw with us.
I'm thinking that a sexy Friday will put us all in a good mood and our Habs will feel the love. Big games - important wins!
Studies have shown that nobody likes a losing team, so what does Batmean and board of super hockey-entertainment-industry-complexifiers come up with? a league where you have to suck damn hard to have a losing record. 24 teams, 6 below .500. Where do all the losses go? it's mahhjjickque(tm)!!
Can't wait for ...
Sexy Friday!
G Y F H !
Greetings from your favourite media-advisor Habs fan in the south.
And don't be so pessimistic about a few game losing streak...I follow the Habs & the Bengals and following the Habs is a dream by comparison.
@BMN - my sympathies. maybe they'll beat Pittsburgh monday! HAHAHAHA
RIP Sparky Anderson. Your WKRP episode was a classic
Yup Sparky was a classic.
Any WKRP episode was a classic! :-)
RIP Sparky...I'll try to forgot your role in Detroit overtaking Toronto in the '87 AL East race :-)
It is pretty clear, Lindy Ruff, Ron Wilson and Chocula are toast. I would not complain if MR Molson rode Chocula to a number one draft pick. He needs about 3 years to hit impact, the team has about a 4 year life span.
btw nice work GG re banner/strippers/no strippters etc
booze is the common denominator!!!!
The loses suck, but can we please stop playing these b-list teams? I'm very bored of Florida, Columbus, Phoenix, etc. We played Toronto once, that's it for original six. Even Pittsburgh seems like eons ago.
And have a look at the schedule and see how many times the Habs play the Sabers on a Friday night followed by a switch in home/away the next night. Tomorrow will be the second time already.
This is how I pass my days, looking for scheduling anomolies.
Going to see the Bulldogs tomorrow~! And I saw them coming into town while on my way home. The bus was stuck in heavy traffic by Cavendish.
@31
Maybe they were waiting for the next UFO to pick them up.
