The Morning Skate for Monday, December 20

Bullet points for what you missed while having nightmares of blowing a 21-point fourth quarter lead...
  • We're still trying to process our emotions about the 3-2 loss to the Avs last night. Actually, we're still trying to process that there was a game on a Sunday night. More soon;
  • The Caps' 8-game losing streak is over thanks to a 3-2 win over the Sens. Too bad, we were really enjoying their epic fail;
  • Dallas is starting to get close to the Wings in the West standings after beating them 4-3. Both teams sitting on 20 wins;
  • Jack Todd loves the Donald Fehr hiring.
CHeer up kids. It's almost CHristmas.

I am very happy the Caps won last night (knew Ottawa would do something about that losing streak) because I didn't want the Habs to play slump-busters on HBO.

Found on twitter: Osgood's family on the OT goal he gave up to ruin his 400th career win. So much swearing (from the kids too!), but that dude by kid with the red hat and mini-stick is classic disappoint.

What I saw were chinks in the system again. The teams with fast forwards have discovered that you just take the puck and go ....
around the standing up defensemen, etc.

Word Verification= briated

Why isn't this the standard word verification and who need the in or the ebb to get briated.
