- Well, there's a lot of good to be said about the Habs' 4-3(OT) loss to the Thrash. We dominated the shots on goal (50-28) and we came back from being down a goal three separate times. We looked interested for 60 minutes for a change. We played quite well, just ran into crappy refs and a hot goaltender while our own goaltending was meh. C'est la vie, and such and such. On the other hand, WE FUCKING LOST AGAIN. Argghhhhhh;
- Tomas Vokoun has his fifth shutout and the Panthers make it back to .500 with a 3-0 win over the Rangers;
- Flyers win in Detroit where they had not won in 16 tries dating back 12 years;
- Mad Max was a healthy scratch in the Ducks' 2-1 win over the Hawks;
- Fuck yeah Canada! Juniors take care of business in the quarters of the WJHC with a 4-1 win over the Swiss even after letting in a terrible goal on their first shot against. Big bad Americans are up next in the semis, tonight at 7:30 on TSN.

A small rebuke to PFK for getting a penalty in OT in the Thrashers loss, but he did get a goal and maybe he was sending Choucula a message.
Congrats to Louis Louis Louis Leblanc for his powerforward goal against the swiss miss.
Leafs are ready to dump KomiIsuck, ha ha Burka, thanks for saving us the hit.
GYFDou$hareklessHG!
Pretty fucking small rebuke to PFK, Steve, if at all...I don't have HD, but it didn't look like much of a hook to me, certainly not blatant enough to warrant a penalty in OT. It is what it is though.
GYFHG!!!!
WJC sucking all the oxygen out of Habsland. Here is a AllHabs bitch to stir the blood of Chocula doubters.
"With Wisniewski, Pierre Gauthier also called in some help from Hamilton. A man by the name of David Desharnais got to lace the skates for the Canadiens this past Sunday against the Atlanta Thrashers. Before being called up, Desharnais lead all AHL players in scoring with 35 points (10-25), so you would think Martin would use him in an offensive fashion, right?
Incorrect. Jacques Martin placed him on the third line with Benoit Pouliot and Mathieu Darche. Both combined for one shot all game, Desharnais managed three himself. Power play time maybe? None. Martin needs to better use the assets that are at his disposal. (Just ask Andrei Kostitsyn and Lars Eller.)"
WTF Choucula, seriously WTF we dont need no stinking contrarians behind the bench.
@Steve - I am a Chokula basher as much as anyone, but I thought the Darche-CHicken-Double D line actually played pretty well in the game. Shot total or no, they seemed to be buzzing every time they were on the ice. I agree Double D needs PP time tho
Wow, this Russia/Swede game is pretty entertaining. Too bad I'll miss the Canada game.
The leaf fan.
@habs fan 29
I sit in my parents basement only because I can not do x and o on a white board supported by game video.
Maybe todays hockey is just a metaphor for the struggle to live a first class life. Mr good idea take a back seat and wait until all the others have filed their patents.
We all know the difference between a star player and a lesser is about half a second of brain recognition.
So when you bring up a guy used to playing a second slower, why put him with those who are not on the first level?
@steve - touché. i think
@me - ha! god bless mel brooks and gene wilder
@29 silver streak ha ha big time and the other one where they are in prison and rob the bank in Chicken suits big ha ha, need a urologist to stop the flow
ole ole ole ole
GYMFCJG
Canadian Junior Team was throwing more hits in one shift than our habs do in a hole game... JM would put an end to that exuberance...
Now AntiCHambre is copying FHF memes, they talk about the Cheez Wiz thingie. FHF is trancendant now (is it writable?)
Can we trade Martin for Cameron? That coach is smart.
