Why has there been no absurd movement to get Kovalev signed with the Habs? I don't think it would be a good idea, but I would seriously enjoy the demonstration outside the Bell Centre. The idiots are letting me down - I don't want him back on the team, but I want the memory of him back on the team.
The team is just nowhere near as exciting since he left. When Gomez underperforms, it's just boring; when Kovalev floats for two games out of three, the lamentations are epic and fascinating. And then he shows up for a game and it's awesome, the old men stand up, clapping, tears in their eyes...

(...incidentally, 50 goals, career. Not in a single season or anything. And his point per game was actually a single point in a single game - the second assist on a goal where the puck seems to have glanced off him at the red line on the way to the playmaker. But WAHEY!!!!)
