- Mark Bell has been suspended indefinitely after being placed in "Stage 2" (whatever that means) of the NHL's substance abuse program, stemming from his guilty plea to drunk driving. That's a quality acquisition by the Laffs;
- The "Super" Series returns to Canada, with Game 5 going tonight in Winnipeg. I'd watch, but I have laundry to do;
- The Canadiens website has a big ad saying "Reebok, er, Rbk Edge Jersey Coming September 4th." That's TODAY. I am really afraid here. Let's hope they're not blue or something.
Alrighty kids, just a few days til the rookies show up, less than 10 days til training camp, less than a month til the fucking puck drops already. Summer is OVER.
