OK, next. Last night was last night. Here's a quickie so we can get this show on the road. Last weekend the season was lost. This weekend the season could be saved. Well, for now. At 7 PM from the Bell Centre, on CBC (for those not getting Leafs-Panthers), Habs have a one of those "four-point" games as the kids call it. Habs just played the Rangers 6 days ago in that lost weekend that was a fucking disaster. Here's a chance for some redemption at least. After a solid performance last night, Jaro gets another start and hopefully will be deserving of many beautiful ladies. And like our size zero lingerie models, Little Tits are in the house. (UPDATE: well maybe not. Now everyone says he's a game-time decision). Dagger sits to make room. And Mara got an upper body boo-boo last night and is out. Boo.Go. Comment. Pants.

But, seriously what is up with this team? They're playing .500(ish) hockey... but not by winning one, then losing one in close games. They get their ass handed to them for 3-5 straight games and then they go and get these crazy motherfuckin' improbable wins against superior opponents (or teams that normally own our ass).

I'll tell you all what happened. It was my friend, my friend i tell ya! You see, i have this russian friend, now, he's not even into hockey AT ALL! But he seems to enjoy free food, so i invite him over to La Cage for some beer and nachos.
Now, last time i went there, it was with him, and the habs won 5-0.
And tonight i take him back, we stayed for the first 2 periods... again, 5-0 (With a chicken wing goal by our favorite Chicken!!!)
I think maybe i should bring him to La Cage more often.

Watched the post game interview of Cassie and Jaro and all I could think about was iTuna.
Noticed something for the first time watching last night and wasn't sure if it was new or not.
Last season it seemed like Koivu was the only player who acknowledged the two kids at the entrance to the ice at the start of the game.
Last night it looked like 3 players did - Squid, Jaro 2.0 and Pleks it looked like to me. Anyone else notice this becoming more common this season?
