Yesterday TSN unveiled its NHL broadcast schedule for the coming season. For all the talk about CBC favouring the Leafs on HNIC, no one seemed to have had that discussion at TSN. Of the 70 games TSN will show, 17 will feature the Laffs, the most of any Canadian team. Habs follow with 15 appearances, and the rest of you loser Canadian NHL cities have just 10 each. Sigh. We don't even have the energy to complain about this type of shit anymore.As for what Jennifer Hedger has to do with all of this, well, not much. But Bob McKenzie just ain't as sexy as he used to be.

Good eyes Bryan, Holly Horton is a fox. A friend of mine works at TSN and says she's the better looking one in person.
As for the schedule, you guys understand why the Leafs are on the most right? Most fans, most viewers, bigger ratings = more ad revenue. Simple as.

@PPP - I certainly undestand why, don't get me wrong. But for fans outside of TO and for fans who like decent hockey it still sucks
Can't fault TSN for following the money ... and the Leafs do bring in the money. Why people continue to watch when they are gawd-awful is what I can't get. I hate hate hate watching the Habs when they are awful. Still love them, but hate watching.
I do however like watching Holly Horton and Jennifer Hedger. But Brian and PPP are right ... Holly is the current clubhouse leader at TSN.
that's a low blow against bob mckenzie. he's looking rather chipper for his age. when i was a young lad i wanted to grow up and be bob mckenzie, the tsn HOCKEY INSIDER.
on a side note, i'm with PPP...holly horton causes me to salivate...

I try to avoid any entity that pays Mike Toth and Bill Watters money, so I'm not up on my Sportsnet anchors (other than Martine ... I like Martine. And I know Gerry Dobson, since he's the one I see when they get to show their lonely EPL game on Saturday.)
TSN rolling out so many Leaf games is about as shocking as RDS sticking with the Habs. Follow the money people...

"Double D," as she is so effectionately referred to over at Sportsnet, is pretty cute. and from the motherland to boot...she's up there. but man, there's nothing like a good set of pillows.

The last time the Canucks came to Toronto my 3 friends and I (not on meth but having been in the cups) got about 150 fans to chant Jody's name as she tried to do the post-game show. Too bad some jerk knocked her up and off of LeafsTV.
Also, Daru = incredible in person. I met her at the NHL awards two years ago and barely kept my jaw off of the floor.
I say we let Hedger and Horton make out to decide who's hotter. I hear Hedger's game, at least.
