HUP!
It's SOOOOO hot!
vanishing comments this morning?
RIP Bob... Long may you continue to facepunch in the great beyond.
Wow, 3 comments in on RueFrontenac actually sad to see MAB go or want him resigned. Now I'm really convinced no one actually watches the games...
Dammit Habs, no weekends for the dev camp :( I wanted to see our RC Cola Ovechkin, Avtsin...
So, how's it going? Thesis coming along? I'm going to wash my carpets today. Bought a mini bissel vacuum.
carpet-cleaning, woohoo!
Later today I might even clean the dryer thingie that collects lint. That is the stupidest invention of all time, btw. Can't tell you how many times I've heard a repairman say "I cleaned out the lint from your dryer and it's a good thing because it was so clogged you were minutes from a fire". WTF would any machine be sold that carries the warning "Can catch on fire if not cleaned out regularly. Must have arms 3 feet long and be able to slide your entire body through the vent to the outside or fire may still ignite". Somebody must be able to make a little light that goes off when the lint thingie is reaching a dangerous level, no? I bet lint In my dryer would suck up the oil spill in no time.
the lint-thingy should be cleaned after EVERY dry!
RIP BoPro
Vanishing comments and I get "explayer" as a WV? Man, that is seriously fucked up!
Of course! Bu still the sneaky lint that goes beyond the basket is a fire hazard. Beyond! Makes no sense.
It's hot here, too. Yesterday afternoon my thermometer read about 41C, which I think puts us well into the triple digits in the 'merkin scale they use around here. And today's supposed to go hotter.
Someone tell me I'm dreaming... I think that BR's column on RDS said that it was a good thing that the new (Anglo) boss was sweeping out the old (Francophone) prez. Mind you, if my rusty French is to be believed, it's because he thinks that Geoff Molson will more actively promote players from the Q than the pure laine Boivin. Seems weird, but maybe he's got a point... probably local boys make good business sense (to put bums in seats), but it's not so clear if it always makes good hockey sense.
I hope that referencing BR doesn't get me banned from FHF, by the way.
BR did have a good point about Biron, I thought ... I was wondering the same thing: Why the fuck did the Habs sign that Old Alex guy when they could have had a decent (if slightly shell shocked) goalie for less money?
Looks like Halak signed. 4 Years, 15 Mill. Good for him.
Halak... 2.75 million the first year and escalating from there. Guess we could'nt afford that. What a fucking joke. I hope the phat whale gets a better offer sheet. Then what is the goat going to do. What a fucking moron. GYFStLB
Actually lehab, I may be off on this, but I read an article somewhere along the line the past couple of days that said the Habs have under $3 million to sign Laps and Price. Considering Halak's 3.75 per year cap hit, I'd say he was indeed out of reach. Unless they decided to let Pleks walk instead of course.
Hang on Oranje!
cold Heinekens all around!
"General manager Pierre Gauthier confirmed today that Dominic Moore, Marc-Andre Bergeron, Paul Mara and Glen Metropolit are not in the Canadiens' plans for next season."
Thanks for your contributions Dominitrix, Métro! and Urologiste.
Also, congrats on the new contract Jaro.
Oops, Merci Monsieur Mara.
Bait, cut;
