Guy-lty

Lap dance to LG77 for pointing out that Habs legend Guy Lafleur has been found guilty of giving contradictory testimony during his son's bail hearing.

Meh. I committed worse crimes on my way to work this morning. However, he does seem to be facing up to 14 years in jail. Man those lawyers are nasty.

Even as a Bruins fan that sucks...

...that it happened after the season after the Eulogy's been written.

St Guy of Thurso might go to jail for 14 years for lying about his son's whereabouts, yet they let Rejean Houle wander the fucking streets! You tell me who did the more heinous things.

I hereby offer all the legal powers of the FHF (and FHF friends!) to Guy. Good luck to us all, trying to smuggle enough smokes in to keep Guy happy.

10 - getting smokes into jail is even harder now with the new non-smoking bans. It's apparently easier to get coke now. (Says my friend who works for the Crown)

He won't get 14 years. I doubt he'll even get jail time.

Oh, and thanks for the lap dance, 29!! Any chance you can arrange for it to be done by Hugh Jackman??

Without wishing to bring the administration of justice into disrepute...

Our esteemed national police farce...er force "mispeaks" every other day...and now Guy faces 14 annees en taule? Not that he'll get that, but still, this kind of thing makes my eyeballs bleed.

The only people allowed to lie in a court of law are lawyers, everyone knows that.

An anxious woman goes to her doctor.
"Doctor," she asks nervously, "can you get pregnant from anal intercourse?"
"Certainly," replies the doctor, "Where do you think lawyers come from?"

A man walked into a bar with his alligator and asked the bartender, "Do you serve lawyers here?".
"Sure do," replied the bartender.
"Good," said the man. "Give me a beer, and I'll have a lawyer for my 'gator."

Are you fucking kidding me? Leave Le Demon Blonde alone! The laws in this country are fucked. The RCMP can taser Robert Dziekanski until he was medium rare, but a Canadian icon tells a lie to protect his son and they are making his life hell? WTF?

I heard on CBC radio that he "might" get a few months of being supervised at home. The 14 years thing sounds like it's just what the maximum penalty for the offense can be in extreme cases, which this is not.
