- Well that was a total bust. Look, you throw your lot in with a rookie goalie it may come back to bite you in the ass at some point. Last night was that point for the Caps. What do you think Jose Theodore was thinking? Pens win 6-2;
- The Lost finale was outstanding.

I was just reading some stuff on TSN about various pending UFAs.
Can anybody fill in the blanks on this statement?
"I am going to take my time to make a good decision this summer," said ______ ________. "Right now, I wouldn't know what my future is going to be, whether I am going to play or not."
Fuckin' asshole. Just fuck off and die. Oops. sorry, if that's too much of a hint!
@LD - i'm guessing he's of Swedish descent
Goddamn PJ Axelsson.
Or it's Patrice Brisebois...
Yeah, ok we all know it's the Swedish meathead.
On the CH front, what are we going to hear about first?
- new owner
- new coach
- signing one of our UFA's.
This is not a poll, I'm genuinely curious. Are the Habs waiting on new ownership before making any personnel decisions? Would a new owner possibly even mean a new GM? We're only a month away from the draft and 47 days to UFA day.
Problem being - if Gillette is selling, he's in no hurry from a hockey standpoint - he just wants his top dollar, and in the mean time he's not going to give Gainey the go ahead to spend money that might jeopardize a deal.
So, IF he is selling, it better happen within the next week to 10 days.
The deal is too complex to happen that fast.
In other words we're fucked.
Here is a poll.
Would it be enough for the Bruins to lose tonight, or does it have to be humiliating, like Chara setting up the winning Carolina goal in OT or something?
Quite frankly, I don't see why the onwership situation should have any influence on the team for this year. Bob still have a year on his contract, and the new owners aren't going to dump the GM in the next few weeks. The team is making an assload of money anyways, so Bob can spend to the cap as usual.
The only real effect the ownership situation has, I think, is to shield Bob from getting canned.
Bob is simply, as usual, taking his own sweet time. The coach is more important, I think: every FA wants to know who he'll be dealing with.
Oliver - the problem is that they can't make a decision about coaching without knowing who the owner is going to be. The coach is often the first one canned with a change of ownership - no coach worth his salt would sign on in such an uncertain situation.
I would start on my rant about how the Canadiens' management is killing my Habs, but I'm not in the mood to cry.
Less hockey talk, more Bruins hate!
Fuck those fucking fuckers. I hope the Canes pull a Pittsburgh and run them and their fucking cro-magnon, lunch-bucket-goon-loving fans right out of their own piss-poor, done-on-the-cheap early 90's rink. (Sorry, Cornelius. Nothing personal.) Fucking Bruins. I don't even have the security blanket of a Gretzky/Messier/Kurri led Oilers team waiting to smash them in a Final to fall back on like when the Great Satan Ray Bourque took them there twenty years ago. They need to get fucking bounced RIGHT FUCKING NOW, and fuck the fucking Canes if they don't do it. Fuck.
Every once in a while one comes across something on the internet that is strikingly right. it could be a paragraph, a web page or an entire site, but it reminds you that human decency and intelligence still exist in this crazy world of ours.
The text by HF10 that starts with "Fuck those fucking fuckers" is such a pearl of complete shining wisdom.
That's good hatin' 10!
What HF10 said. With a few more Fucks, Fuckings and Fuckers thrown in. And a Fuckity-Fuck, what the hell.
@LG77 - The coach is usually a casualty of a change of GM, not so much a change of ownership. New owners tend to move more slowly, and they move from the top. I'm thinking Boivin will likely be the first casualty of a new owner.
1-0 or 10-0, just hope the Bs lose. Bonus, they'll be whining all summer.
I want it to hurt.
I want Carolina to tie the game with exactly 0.1 seconds left in regulation.
During a Too many men on the ice penalty.
The I want a winning Hurricane goal in OT to involve a massive fuck up by Savard, Lucic, Chara and Tim Thomas.
chara pulling an O'Byrne would be fun.
Also.
I would love to see Boivin get the ax. he is 100% douche.
And fuck those fucking fucks, but it won't change anything. Carolina is out of gas.
poo
woooooooo!! c'mon whalercanes
Boston crowd is dead quiet. fucking awesome
I want to barf, Ducks lose 4-3, what a crap goal by the Wings. Poor Hiller, he's a good goalie. Shit. Shit. Shit. Fuck the Wings, I hope Chicago takes them out.
Canes lead 2-1? Excellent, maybe the night won't be a total loss. I'm starting to cheer up. I don't like watching the Bruins, the color of their uniforms make me queasy.
so Pierre has seen Tim Thomas without his clothes on? this is getting sick.
fuck this game I have a bad feeling.
bitches.
Canes! Fuck yeah! Fuck the Bruins!
suck it Tiny.
Love that is was Walker and has solid right cross that did it.
Fack you Bahston. Enjoy not having your entire team post career years next season.
OK, it feels nice to see the Bruins lose.
But you know - the teams that were in this round: Canes, Bruins, Pens, Caps, Ducks, Wings, Hawks, all showed a lot more heart than our Habs.
We gave up all year. The Bruins never gave up.
Hey, if this year's Bruins were last year's Habs, does that mean that next year's Bruins will be this year's Habs?
If so, fucking awesome.
TIMMMAYY!!!! :-D
Quote the PA man, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Time for a Staal Brothers Drinking Game, playoff series style.
