- Canada and Russia play a great game, but Canada can't score enough and lose 2-1 in the Double Eye final.

Pros:
- Seems to be a good coach.
- Might help Carey Price.
- Not one to let things slide.
Cons:
- Another rookie coach for the Habs.
- Batshit crazy.
@Boob - The batshit crazy part - very, very scary.
On the other hand, his antics might take media pressure off his players, both on and off the ice. The players will seem like boring, bookish, cardigan & slipper-wearing gentlemen by comparison.
Pro - no one in the French media would dare complain about him
Con - as soon as he punches an opposing coach, all will become clear

I presume you're referring to the French media as in Le Figaro or Le Monde. I agree they won't complain about him.
The French Quebec media on the other hand will complain about him after the first pre-season defeat.

The Nucks are indeed lame. They tried to steal game 4 by letting Luongo stop everything.
Of greater concern to me is the possibility that the Bruins might come back against the 'Canes.

I don't really know who I'm cheering for in the Pens/Caps series since I somewhat like both teams. Tonight I'm cheering the Caps just because I want a game 7. Great great hockey.

Looking through old things I wrote and found this gem from 2003. I thought FHF would appreciate something bizarre like this:
"Last night I dreamt that I was at an Ottawa Senators hockey game. We stuck around afterwards and I managed to run onto the ice to stick magnets with subversive messages on them somewhere along the boards so that they would be picked up by the television cameras. As we were leaving, we ran into Don Cherry, Ron MacLean and Peter Mansbridge. Peter Mansbridge looked absolutely awful, though."
I'd prefer that the Blackhawks win but don't care enough to say Go Hawks Go or whatever they usually say in Chicago. Byfuglien is the fucking shit though.
