With HF29 probably nursing a well-earned hangover, here are Panger's news and notes on a lazy Sunday afternoon here on the left coast (well, more so than Montreal anyway):
- Habs Inside/Out reports that Tomas Plekanec has switched to number 14 from 35. Let's hope he has more success with the new digits than it's former owner, Radek Bonk.
- Big trade between the 'Hawks and 'Yotes: Radim Vrbata joins the Great One in the desert, while Kevyn Adams joins Denis Savard in Chicago. I'm sure both coaches are planning the Stanley Cup parade route as we speak.
- Jacques Demers favourite Andy Sutton signs a 3-year deal on the Isle. The 6'6" monster would have looked good patrolling the Habs blueline, but I'm sure Habs fans will appreciate the Breezer much more this season. I will now go smash my head against my keyboard repeatedly.
Enjoy the rest of your weekends, lads and lasses.
