Montreal Gazette Can't Pay its Bills

Hahahaha. No seriously, I have to laugh. The Gazette pours all its resources into making the crappiest hockey "blog" in the history of hockey blogs, and they can't pay their bills. I went to Habsinsideout.com to check on any news a few minutes ago, and I get redirected to a page with the message: "This Account Has Been Suspended. Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible."

All you Habs Inside Out fans come join us! We have strippers!

UPDATE - at 2:11 PM it seems like everything is back to "normal." Well, they have a new design so I guess that was the issue. The new design is, uh, blue. Like the Leafs?

I took a screen shot at the time so you know I wasn't on crack:

I saw it too. HF29 might be on a lot of things, but crack ain't one of them.

Whew, thanks HF10. I thought for a moment I may have hallucinated it. You know, from the LSD / Ecstasy combo I was on.

If Habs Inside/Out is such a crappy hockey blog, the why do you use them as your source for news on the Habs?

touché anon, touché

i say it's a crappy "blog" and I stand by it, becuase it's cred as a real "blog" is zilch.

it IS however, an easy source of links to all the Gazette's Habs stories in one place. and that's all it is

Just had a look - they're claiming it was due to a 'server overload':

Technical difficulties earlier today
posted by Dru at 17h38 EST on Nov 12

Due in part to the popularity of the new site, our web server was offline for a little while this morning and early afternoon.

To keep this from happening again, we have temporarily turned off a few features, in order to lessen the load on the server. We will be moving the site to a higher-capacity server in the next few days, at which point we will be able to carry on adding new features for you and expanding the site. Daily Habs coverage will continue as usual.

To everyone who has made this site so well trafficked (and very briefly, too well-trafficked) we thank you for your patience and enthusiasm.
