Two Days of Mind-Numbing Tedium Coming to Montreal!

The Habs have announced that the 2009 NHL Entry Draft will be held in Montreal on June 26th and 27th, all of it part of the big 100th anniversary celebrations.

FHF makes the commitment right now to you, dear reader, to MILF-hunt in person while drunk and on meth. Party time!

The draft live is awful. At least it was in Toronto in 2002. Without hearing the instant analysis it's a whole lot of sitting around doing nothing. (On the plus side, since the place was only half-full, we sat in almost every section of the rink. As much as I hate the Leafs, there ain't a bad seat in there.)

I'd like to see a draft for kicks. To see where my Chiefs go while eating a 8 dollar pretzel. What is the going price for a pretzel in Montreal?

It'd probably be painfully boring and long but I would sit through it. Maybe I am a masochist.

Wrap is hitting Montreal next year, y'all!

Well, hell...I may have to attend it now.

Even the possibility of randomly running into any of the FHF on a random street in MTL is enough of a draw. Throw in something like this, when I'm neck-high in lack-of-hockey-angst, and my savings account seems destined to be flattened next summer.
