RDS and RDS-HD, Montreal English radio CJAD, Montreal French radio CKAC;
- Check out Pred Joe;
- Preds coming off a big 6-5 win over Ottawa
- Habs coming off sucking;
- Radek Bonk leads the Preds in goal-scoring;
- That last bullet point was no joke;
- Huet gets the start;
- Sens lost again this afternoon, to the Rangers;
- That last bullet point has nothing to with the Habs game, but I felt like mentioning it;
- The Predators have never won in Montreal;
- There is always a first time for everything.

I had let up on my Breezer hate for a few weeks, but it came roaring back with a vengeance over the past few games. He has as many (if not more) glaring fuckups per game as a rookie, only we have NO HOPE of him ever getting better. *sigh*

I'm with PierreetYvon on this one - unacceptable to let ourselves get shot on 19 times in the 3rd in a game where we are up by 3 goals.
So much for Carbo's "defensive" style. We're a small speedy team with some pretty iffy defencemen. Playing the trap is not the way to go... We play better when we open up and, you know, ACTUALLY PLAY THE FUCKING GAME.
Not that you would know that there's a good team buried under all of the shit we've seen lately.

As I'm sure you'll all find out, HabsFan29 will probably blame me for the loss.
LG it was actually a fun game to watch. but the hockey coach in me (and every Habs fan) knows there was a LOT of bad in that one. a rant is building
and soylent, while he may hold some blame, is in no way resposible for letting up 40 shots. Carbo, Muller, Jarvis - they should at least know defense, right??? grrr...
But I am definitely to blame for a 3 minute to game over jinx. I knew it when it came out of my mouth!
Soylent - I gave my tickets to friends who haven't seen the Habs win yet this year... this was their 6th game.

Well, this was my first live game of the year and my first in years that HansFan29 was more than happy to invite me too. The game was going swimmingly, if luckily (although we both saw that Huet was definitely NOT being protected by his defense).
By the 3rd (and 40 shots in) I uttered the words "we have this one wrapped up", and within 10 seconds they scored. and then they scored again. A sad state of affairs.
Although I'm sure Huet will get the blame for this loss, I would chalk it more up to some weak defense, lucky breaks and overall line confusion with all the changes (although that bad bounce goal was clearly his fault).
I ain't no big master fan, I only see what my eyes show me.
Ran into some internet troubles tonight. Sorry to have left you all mid-collapse.

Nothing I can say can make this better for you today but Huet played (despite giving up four in the third) a solid game. The Preds could not solve him until that bad bounce off the boards that Ortmeyer put in.
At then end he was 40+ shots in, way too much for any mortal to manage. He was tired.
