- Luongo's shutout streak comes to an end, 'Nucks lose 2-1 in a shootout;
- Brian Burke no longer Ducks GM, Leafs Nation waits for his arrival with either fear or a tingly feeling;
- Boston and Buffalo both win to keep the Northeast division nice and clusterfucky;
- A Washington Capital gets five points in a 5-1 win over the Canes to take over the NHL scoring lead. No, not him, the other one;
- In case you missed it in the comments yesterday, Jarkko Ruutu got 2 games for the elbow on Mad Max.

God love ya Robert. With your permission, I'm using one of those for the open thread today. OH YEAH!!!
Free feel, um, er, feel free to do so.
wtf I had Semin in my pool last year and he's soon going to have more points than he did for all of last season =/
Out of all that has transpired between Burke, the Ducks and the Queafs, how is this NOT tampering?
Sundin going all the way out to Anaheim is looking mighty suspicious.
Heh... From Fark.com's Sports tab...
"Pair of Stanley Cup rings stolen in Toronto. Police still trying to determine what two Stanley Cup rings were doing in Toronto".
Amazes me how that shit never gets old.
I say let Burke go to the Leafs. He did a great job destroying the Canucks and they had an owner that actually cared about winning. The Ducks will go into rapid decline in the next couple of years because of his mortgage the future for this year attitude. I predict that he'll trade and buy the Leafs into a competitive team in two years, and then two years later Leaf fans will be pining for the days of JFJ.
Re: Burke, I used to have the tingly feeling. Now I'm scared.
@ beta169: Pining for the days of JFJ? Let's not talk crazy.
