For a dose of reality we also refer you to the modified "Habs Record" at the top right of our page. Are we post lock-out good or pre-lock-out mediocre?
Man, that's just purty beyond words. Not only are the habs #1, but TORONTO is near the bottom. Heh.
How did you guys figure the pre-lockout stats? Just turned anything that went to shootout into a tie, and then convert W/L in OT into "real" wins or losses?
I think that we'd still be pretty good for a pre-lockout team. At that time, all a team needed to be was .500 to have a shot at the post-season.
I think I'm dreaming. But it's a happy, I shouldn't be awake this early but it's a great day dream. It's a fancy beer with rubber stopper tops type day I think.
The pre-lockout stats are misleading though, because these days teams play differently knowing there's a three-point option available. If you took that off the table you'd see a lot more aggressive behaviour from teams, which would (presumably) benefit a team that scores as much as Montreal does. You could chalk up another handful of wins overall.
LOL... bryan, I work about a block away from the Staples on 11th Ave. That's pretty close to you.
Yeah, I was thinking of doing something like that. We have two other habs fans at work, and Panger's out here too. I gather Cafe Metro on Mcleod Tr S is the place to go. Supposedly they have seats from the forum & everything!

Now let's cheer on the Rangers. So they can beat Pittsburgh!
@LG: I got Rock Band yesterday, which is why I was posting so late. I'm also in Calgary, so not so late for me ;)
I totally meant to say the Trashers not Rangers
