I concur.
PPP you're not giving up are you? still only 6 points out of 8th
PPP is very pragmatic. Better to have a high percentage shot at Stamkos or Doughty than a low percentage shot at running the playoff table as an 8th seed. Even if you escape the East, the 2000 pound Duck-Gorilla is waiting on the other side of the fence.
HF29 - those 6 points might as well be 15 with all of the teams ahead of the Leafs.
HF 10 - You're right, that 2000 pound duck-billed Gorilla (can we get a photoshop of that? anyone?) will make a sacrificial lamb out whoever comes out of the East. Unfortunately, it's looking like a low-percentage shot at getting the top pick OR making the playoffs.
Basically, it's been a tough year.
