The Morning Skate for Sexy Friday, November 6th

Bullet points for what you missed while dreaming of a sexy Rachel Bilson...
  • From Big Fat Whale to puck throwing-back Franchise Saviour in 65+ minutes. TFS leads the Habs to a 2-1 SO win over the Bs. The ladies above are confused. Shout out to Tits as well who did all the work on the Habs goal. More later today;
  • Spezza gets his first goal of the season, the OT winner over the Bolts;
  • Chris Higgins actually scores a goal in the Rangers win over the Oil;
  • Nucks win their 3rd straight with a lineup almost as depleted as the Habs;
  • Kings beat the Pens 5-2. Wait, that can't be right. [checks] It is. The Kings are 6-0-2 in their last 8? The Kings have the NHL's leading point getter? That can't all be right? [checks] It is.
Mmm, long form video highlights after a win.

Higgins scored against Vancouver too. Team-opening goal also, just like yesterday. Gotta say it was a perfect play by Del Zotto vs Oilers.
2 very important goals by Higgins nonetheless. Let's see him get some more for old times sake.

@Newcomer
He did that to us to, make us think he was 'able'...

Go Habs! Not the prettiest win but it's 2 points

I can't watch MAB any more, I just can't. Who the fuck falls down chasing Rider ? Why don't we ever score on a five on three ?? Why does it always come down to OT ? Why the fuck do we give up goals in the last fucking minute ??? It's a good thing I had Belevedere in the freezer ...

Hey, why the hell is the Halak chick wearing Bruins colours?

eyebleaf said...

Who was that in goal last night? Sure didn't look like Carey Price.

Anonymous said...

Price fucking owned out there...

ITA Anon - loved that touch of arrogance after the shootout. Go Cari, Go!!

In other news, I'm going to the Bulldogs game tonight at the Bell Centre. Curious to see what kind of reception FlatChest gets... Hmmm...

4HF I’ve lost it. Please call my attorney. So I guess call one of your selves. Giant knobs. Your brief is to defend what I now write:
Five million words on the Habs the last five years, I'm so fucking bored of this shit.
To all Habs sites except 4HF:

You're all so full of shit. It's a fucking simple game. 4th line 1st line whatever. Who cares? Skate like fuck and pass and drill it. It's not fucking science. Don't need no coach, don't need strategy. Skate, skate, skate like fuck and fire the fucker past the goalie.

Geez, blah blah, site after site:
'4th line 3rd line what should the Habs do?' Oh my knob is so small, help me mommy!
Ooh de doo de doo? Groan. Seriously what fucking endless wanking.
Skate, drive, shoot. Be fast. Beat your defender. I know it: 99 percent of you have never scored a fast goal in your life. You don't know how and you don't have the speed or talent. You don't have the nerve speed required. But you go on and on and on...So leave guys like Chips, for example, alone, who you call 'fourth line', who is stronger, faster, and more talented than you can even imagine. You lame fuckers. So shut the fuck up. Blah seriously.
Play the game or shut fuck up. Shut up. No, I mean it…shut up.
4HF I instruct you to defend me as your client.
JHK

Good 29. I'm so tired. Tired now. Sleep now...

JHK is making complete sense to me. Should I be scared?

Qless said...

Bob McKenzie is reporting that the Habs just claimed Jay Mckee off of Waivers... Who the fuck is Jay McKee?? Oh, and they waived Henry.

GoldenGirl11 said...

I think Jay McKee was a Martin Short character on SCTV.

@10
Bruins colors because she wanted Halak in net for the game last night. It's the language of color. Work with me.

LJ said...

Jay Leach.. not Mckee... 6'4 225.. 28 NHL games, no goals, 3 assists loses fights.. I thought we already signed Hal Gill?

Moey said...

@JHK,

Amen to that. They are pathetic morons and they have no lives. My personal favorites are the imaginary line postings. Maybe if we're lucky the Habs will finish last this year and they'll all hang themselves.

kevincrumbs said...

I think I'd take Hal Gill over the Urologist at this point.

wv: wograck. Seriously, Blogger? You do know that "wog" is a racial slur, right?

Flying Toaster said...

Is there a third "splooger" that we can add to the group, that way we could call them "The Three Splooges"

Am i the first one to think about it? Really?

Cornelius Hardenbergh said...

Buncha jerks. <3 Patrice Bergeron <3

Carey looked great against a half-ahl team that brought over 2 hours of scoring drought to the game, for what that's worth.

Thomas is looking better, too, I like that.

kevincrumbs said...

@Cornelius: Come on, if you're going to level that against Carey, then Thomas played well against a team carrying three guys with a total of one game of NHL experience prior to showing up at the Garden last night. Oh, and a team that coughs up goals at a dangerous rate.

So there.

Habsfan10 said...

@ Cornelius:

Yep, buncha jerks. Buncha 24 Cup winnin', got the Bruins by the balls 75% of the time jerks. Of course, you buggers got Burke's nuts in the glove compartment, so bravo on that.

Thomas looked good too, since we also dressed 50% of an AHL team. You get Lucic and Krejci healthy and clean the sand out of Savard's va-jay-jay, we'll get Rhino, Markov healthy and our Tits straightened out and we'll settle this for real later this year, you gloriously homerific black and gold bastard, you.

Cornelius Hardenbergh said...

@HF10 Go dig up your grandfather so he can tell me about all those cups

I love habs/Bruins games. And this site. Isn't Markov out until after the Olympics or something?

You guys did win the first game last year and that ended up working out ok.

Habsfan10 said...

@ Cornelius:

I can tell you about the six that have happened in my lifetime, if you like. Some of them were really, really impressive. The Bruins are looking at a Rangers-esque level of futility at this point what with 2 Cups in 70 years. Not good to be in the boat with the red-headed stepchild of the Original Six.

lawyergirl77 said...

*pops some popcorn in order to watch the 10 vs. CH smackdown*

Keep it going, gents! Highly entertaining!!

To add to the fire: Lucic wouldn't have made one lick of difference to the end result last night 'cause he's kind of a big fat pussy.

discuss.

Cornelius Hardenbergh said...

@HF10 No, I've seen Habs Eyes on the Prize, the sidebar there tells me all I need to know.

You're right about the futility bit, though. None in my lifetime by a long shot. And this year's not off to a superb start.

I'm still hoping Toronto will Tank for Taylor Hall.

lawyergirl77 said...

But 10 - if the Rangers are the red-headed stepchild, where does that put the Hawks? Or do we not even acknowledge their existence anymore?

Habsfan10 said...

@LG77:

Everyone forgets the Hawks have the longest Cup drought and have been terrible for the majority of their existence. They deserve way more abuse than they get. However, I love their jersey, the nuthouse that used to be Chicago Stadium, the whuppings they used to deal out to the Leafs back in the old Norris days, and the destroyer of worlds that was Jeremy Roenick in EA Sports 92. The Hawks are my second favourite NHL team and so I give them a pass.

@ Cornelius:

That draft pick thing has me in a real bind. I'd love to see the look on that smug jackass Burke's face if the B's landed 1st pick, but I sure as hell don't want Boston getting a star. Damned if we do ...

LJ said...

Let the Leafs tank, give the Bruins the number one pick, last time they had a dream #1 pick they grabbed Big Joe Thornton, and somehow turned that into Marco Sturm, Andrew Ference, Craig Weller, a shit pick and a shit prospect... fucktards.

Cornelius Hardenbergh said...

I would not only like to see Burke get a smug smile off his face, but also the howling of the whole rest of the division/league. Please please please please. Hell, I even want Carolina to get better.

CAROLINA!

Just so the leafs suck the most so we get that draft pick.

P.s. that guy you guys just picked up is married to a talking head that covers the Bruins for NESN. Between him and Hal Gill, we're getting our guys on the inside. Get your tinfoil ready.

@LJ Joe Thornton still has exactly as many cups as we do and until either end changes that I'm okay with the cap space for Chara and Savard instead of Big Joe.

Chester said...

I'm sorry but I found myself in agreement with a Beaner, this is shorting my circuits. So laughing at The Leaves is an international thing. Woa Woa Tabernak

Cornelius Hardenbergh said...

@GG despite y'all rooting for the worst team in sports I really like FHF. Everything here tends to be funny and often sexy, except the team itself.

I'd give every green banner in the Garden away for a cup in my lifetime, so much the better if we beat Montreal on our way there.

Guys, remember when Patrice Bergeron fought last year? Priceless memories!

GoldenGirl11 said...

Say what you will about Max but he's pretty damn gorgeous.

kevincrumbs said...

@CH: Yeah, at least we all agree that basketball sucks (outside of March Madness).

LJ said...

@CH

You're argument is f'ed, big Joe doesn't equal Chara and Savard.. Big Joe = Marco Sturm, Andrew Ference, Craig Weller, a shit pick and a shit prospect which equals 6M in cap space, and that is much closer to Joe's cap hit, than CHara and Savard.
