There are only four teams with worse points per game records than us: Leafs, Canes, Panthers and Wild.

The Leafs are unbeaten in 7 so will pass us soon.

How good is Taylor Hall?

We have only two wingers who are remotely capable of scoring goals: Gionta and Cami.

Our defencemen may, as a group, be the worst in the league.

We do not have consistent goaltending. Both keepers can be counted on to give up one bad goal per game.

Long cold winter ahead my friends.

@Boob: Can't argue with much of that. Maybe, finally, against all the planning to avoid it, this team will tank. As far as I can see, unless Danny Kristo and Louis Leblanc turn out to be PPG NHL players, there is very little hope on the horizon that this team will turn it around in the future. Tanking could be the only option for improvement, sad though that admission makes me.

Although, with the Habs, we not only have to pray for a tank-to-improve season, we also have to pray management doesn't screw up the tank process. With our luck, Gainey'll land the first pick and end up choosing some moody Russian winger who's 5'7" and declines to come to North America while forever tantalizing Habs fans with his 50 goals a year in the KHL. Meanwhile, Taylor Hall will light it up with the Bruins for years to come while the Habs fans who aren't lamenting the Russian Who Wasn't will be crying foul that Gainey didn't use the pick to draft a solid, 11-goal-scorer from the Q.

If you haven't yet, check out Metro's 4/4 target shooting performance from yesterday's skills thing. In the words of Mrs Seinfeld, "how could anybody not like him?"

Metro! <3

My my ye all be doomsdayers. The prospects are in good hands with Boucher, while some of our best are still in school. And I wish someone would stop the stupid Sergei jokes...
