Sportscasters.... er, former Bruin employees in dirty pantries shouldn't throw stones

Hey Mike, we checked out your Wikipedia page and we're fairly certain that you can drop the word professional from your ice hockey analyst bio now.

Hilarious. Love the pic and the tags. Didn't someone at CBC or was it TSN call the Habs cockroaches last playoffs because no one could get rid of them? I remember I was mad at first, then relieved when I thought it was a compliment, then pissed again when I realized that it meant they're pests that no one wants around. Then I felt a bit hungry and sleepy, but mostly because I was drunk for 38 days straight during that run.

But I digress. Nice work GG.

if there was any doubt left in anyone's mind, GG is a godess.
someone should send Pillsbury the link!!!!!

Perfect! *snicker*

The amoeba really needs to see it, you should send it in to HNIC.

@moe: What a disgrace the CBC has become in regards to hockey coverage. It used to be bias and neglect against the Habs, but since they've become consistantly more successful than the Leafs especially it's become a full on attack. Let's not talk about their unlikely success, or even the win. Let's call them wimps and pussies for not fighting when challenged after a good clean hit. Nevermind it's a skilled player against a goonish relic of the old NHL. Somehow it's embarrassing not to drop your gloves every single time you're challenged, no matter what the context. So let's give up on scoring, hitting and making nice plays because the old men who run the show live by the 'code' and that's more important.

By far the majority of fans of the NHL, including casual and new fans that Bettman want so desperately to stick around, want skill over fighting. You want to expand in the US? Mom and Pop USA don't want to take their kids to a bloodbath otherwise they'd go see boxing or MMA. Once in a while, fine, but this old guard notion that a spinorama move in the shootout is disgusting and dropping the gloves for every single little bump on the ice is out-dated. We already had the skill vs goon debate in the 70s and the Habs won. Get over it.

Oh, I forgot the best part:
"the Bruins have the Canadiens' number!"

Wait...what? In what way, in what statistical, historical, demonstratable, logical way is that statement even close to being accurate even as an opinion?
Tomorrow on the CBC:
"Tokyo destroys Godzilla!"

Just as hilarious was leaf loving hack jeff marek literally crying that PFK 'stiff-armed him, he stiff-armed him!" Jerks.

@gg very appropriate

@orangeman ditto

Fuck the Fucks, Toronto is a least a decade away from a cup winner if they had the best management and a supercomputer to back them up. Toronto is fucked, and as someone who lives in the gta ,If they stopped pretending and just grabbed reality by the horns we might not want to piss in Toront beer all night long

Baby Jesus does not want an Ipad he wants an I control. Baby GFSM just wanted better sauce.

All I want for xmas is to fuck the leafs, the flyers and the bruins, fuck them fuck them fuck to quote the fucking coach of the fucking Capitalistic Mr Bruce

No really. I can put up with all the BS, but I want to know in what universe "the Bruins have the Canadiens' number".

HNIC has become the FOX news of Canada. They get their talking points (Habs are cheap shot artists and wimps) while providing no evidence of those claims, they single out random individuals for abject hatred usually reserved for Nazis and other war criminals (PK) and then they start making up their own facts to prove these mythical points with loud blowhards as their talking heads (it used to just be Cherry, but now it's pretty much everyone). Throw in the insults and we're basically funding New Corp Canada through our taxes.

Hey guys! I appreciate all the anti-CBC rants as much as the next guy. I learned some time ago to ignore those leaf lovin' hacks. I subcribed to RDS a long time ago. You guys don't like Benny Brunet but I just ignore him (I don't speak much French anyway) and enjoy listening to Pierre Houde call the game. I wouldn't waste 5 seconds of my life listening to Cole anymore.

Might as well face it, CBC/HNIT will never show the Montreal Canadiens any respect. McLean and Cherry are so firmly entrenched that I believe they dictate policy and as long as that continues the leaf will be the focus of HNIC.

Just listened to the Saint John Sea Dogs demolish the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 6 - 2 on the radio. They have a great young francophone player named Jonathon Huberdeau who is draft eligible in the upcoming 2011 draft. I sure hope the Habs can grab him in that draft. I think he's going to be a good prospect.

Yeah I wish I were in Quebec so I could get RDS (even if it means Benoit). Instead I'm in the US and I'm stuck with the feed of whatever team the Habs happen to be playing that night unless it's another Canadian team which means I get TSN and god forbid it's a Saturday night because that means Hockey Night in Canada and Don Cherry -___- Once in a blue moon I'll get to watch RDS if the Habs are playing Florida or something.

Also I believe it was Joe Beninanitytiytjijty who called the Habs cockroaches in the playoffs against Washington but I may be mistaken.

Those tags and that picture are awesome.

Brad May is the same idiot who used to hit guys way behind the play. Smaller guys. And thought he was tough 'cause he fought Cube, who's half his height. And who does the play-by-play of the AHL CBC games. The same idiot who said Fortier should have been in the box serving a meaningless 5-for-fighting for whacking at a lose puck in the crease and should have been drawn into a fight for it instead of scoring the final goal for his first hat trick EVER (he's really a defensive player).

What I think I find more disturbing is the fact that Brad May and PJ actually teach kids hockey in hockey camps. I fear what little Matt Cookes these guys are developing...

Kmaxx said...

Brad May was a shit hockey player and is even worse as a commentator. PFK made a clean hit and wanted no part of the other ass who was looking to draw him into a fight. That's the end of it. Fot asssholes like May and Cheery and PJ Stock (Who the fuck is he anyway?) to say he should be fighting to defend himself as a man - fuck off! And I agree with the Orangeman - in what universe does Boston have the Habs number? The CBC should be ashamed of themselves. But jizzing themselves over the cirle jerk they can have tonight with the Habs not playing.
GYFMFHG!
