Kovalchuk and Kozlov lead your list of hot Thrashers. There's a suprise. Good ol' Ron Hainsey and some crappy goalies are keeping the cold side cold, and leading to the fact that the Thrash are second to last in the league in goals allowed. I'm sure the Habs will be the cure for that.

Hypothetical questions:
If we were to trade Kovalev to a Western Conference team before the all-Star game, would his votes transfer over, putting him in the starting lineup for the West, potentially kicking someone OFF that starting lineup?
Do you think crazy MTL fans would get a write-in campaign together fast enough to replace Kovy on the starting lineup with someone else, potentially whoever we got in return?

The fact that Tangy's goal didn't count is horseshit - the Thrashers' goalie is basically being rewarded for molesting Lapierre in front of the net. I would be booing my ass off if I was there (which is why I gave up my tix - I know I'd just make myself sicker).

After the D'Agostini goal, it left me there, wondering to myself... Why the hell does Pierre McGuire know that D'Agostini changed his stick flex 2 days ago? And how is it pertinent to the garbage goal he picked up? Did that flex change really mean the difference between scoring and not scoring?
I'd understand if Kovalev changed sticks after a 13 game goal drought and Pierre pointed that out... but this was an AHL call-up.
Pierre, we know you know the players. We're not impressed by every piece of knowledge you throw at us.
