The Morning Skate is tossing you in the clink for public intoxication on Tuesday, October 12th

Bullet points for what you missed while dreaming of becoming the all-time CFL leader in receptions...
Busy second half of the week ahead, with Guy Boucher and the Tampa Canadiens visiting for the home opener tomorrow, and games Friday and Saturday. It's a make or break week for the Habs' season!

Oh wow, HF10, that was a brilliant read. That Habs-hate was sub-par...

Also, what's with MickeyRibs having a 40yr old wife? Maybe it's just because at 21, that does NOT sound appealing at all...

Penned this last night upon hearing the news:

An Ode to the Fuckity Fuck

It really isn't very sad
your drunkeness makes you look so bad
We knew that it would take no luck
for the world to see you were a big fuck
So now our hearts fill with joy
when you stupidly act like a teenage boy
Maybe now the Stars will act with some class
and release your sorry, selfish ass.

Pretty bad, I know. However, us stay-at-home dad/lawyers need to flex some sort of creative muscles that don't involve painting princesses...

Fuckity Fuck, will be playing in Toronto or NY by Friday. Please let it be Toronto.

HF10 brilliant, doubly so when reading the sad retort by Boston's Bimbo...

Fuckity-fuck will remain in Dallas until they can find an owner with positive cash flow.

Did Avery take Wiz up on his date request?

Great post, 10! You are da man.

Da Laffs peaked too early (though they will still win a couple in a row after they have been mathematically eliminated from the post-season. (sometime in early March).

How's the view from down there?

It was a happy happy day when we traded that Little Fuckity-Fuck. His level of self appreciation is virtually unatainable. The fact that he drinks like a girl doesn't surprise me, what does tho is that the cops tossed him in the tank. That meens they either didn't recognize him as the star he thinks he is or they did and put him in the tank anyway. Either way Guy The Flower would NEVER have been put in the tank, woa woa tabernak.

Love PFK;

"Subban spent most of last season in Hamilton for playing for Boucher and the two assistants he brought with him to Tampa — Daniel Lacroix and Martin Raymond.

Subban made his presence known in Pittsburgh, where he was seen shouting face-to-face with Crosby and later had to go for repairs after taking a high-stick to his left eyelid from Mike Comrie.

Cherry called Subban a “good kid,” but added that “he’s got to show a little respect.”

He also suggested that Comrie’s high-stick was payback for the Crosby incident, although it looked accidental on replays. If it was intentional, Comrie would no doubt have a talk with league disciplinarian Colin Campbell.

Subban said he has “tremendous respect” for Cherry, whom he has known since playing minor hockey in Toronto, but took issue with the notion of not showing it to the league’s established stars.

“What is respect?” said Subban “Respect is not playing dirty, respect is playing an opponent and not cheap-shotting them.

“But hockey is a game that has to be played a certain way and if you’re not competitive, you’re going to lose. So I play the game competitively. I know that Sidney Crosby is going to do the same thing and so is every other player.

“As a guy just coming into this league, I’m also trying to make a mark for myself and make sure I’m doing my job when I’m out there. That’s all I’m focused on — doing what the coach asks me to.”"

HF10, great stuff.

Eyebleaf, enjoy your brief moment in the sun...you know, deep down, it's not going to last. I can't wait for leafs nation to endure it's first 5 game losing streak. Reading the Toronto papers is so much more fun then.

Man, the Bruins one had so much resignation in it that I couldn't even feel any hate.

As the commentator said the gesture directed toward Avery is "something the league needs to get a grip on before it explodes." I thought the guy had a pretty good grip on the imaginary ... as for the exploding, well
