@perplexed: I hate to say it but I agree. Besides Naslund, I think Guy was my favourite player from the 80's. But he can't coach - in Montreal at least. I'm sure he could find 'success' elsewhere a la Julien, Therien and Vigneault.
But it ain't just the coach. I hate to do it, but I have to agree with my brother the Bruin fan that the Habs have - and I'm using his words for effect - "have too many soft Commies that start with the letter K."

Honourable mention to Steve Bégin who said that the Habs had quit and lacked character last night.
While I loved Carbo as a player, I've been saying for a while now that his coaching has been suspect. He should have been Gainey's assistant for several years in order to learn how to coach properly (FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT FROM BEING A PLAYER) before being entrusted with the team.
I thought he had been making strides. Perhaps he had, but this bunch of brain dead, dickless jackasses (Mad Max, Greek Lightning, TFS, Bégin, and Koivu - usually - excepted) is not fucking helping the situation.
