- 7:30 PM start, Bell Centre. Habs have lost 2 straight and are 5-5 in their last 10. Atlanta is the same 5-5 in their last 10, losers of 3 in a row;
- Habs are 1-2 in 3 games (all shootouts!) against Atlanta this year. Huet won the one game;
- Kovy and Markov still hot. And Ryder - will he be relieved he's still here and we can get on with it?
- Some kid named Hossa won't be around for the Thrash, but their own Kovy ain't too bad, though he has only 1G and 3A in his last 7 games;
- Price listed as "cold" in the TSN preview. Ah well. Ha-lak! Ha-lak! Ha-lak!
On that note, let's play some puck!

I like your optimism 29. (I suppose there's nowhere else to go at this point)
Grabs is actually on the ice!
Gotta figure out this lineup
hey look, actual hockey!
Yes! Mad Max rewarded for not being traded
and i think Carey has some extra Zen so far
w00t
grrr
our PK leaves something to be desired
jeebus everything but score
go to the video!
not the best period of hockey
Man, this is a team that they have to beat. This is the kind of game that determines IF we get in the playoffs.
so who thinks Higgins is happy he wasn't traded?
hey now you guys are missing some fun!
hf29 - Lovin' it!!!!!!!
HF29, I need your best advice on where to go for a pre-game drink next Saturday. I am in town for the habs vs devils game. I have a bunch of people with me who have never been to mtl.
you want upscale classy or just a decent pub to have a pint?
ps nice hit Buillon on Recchi!!
Basically I want a place where lots of Habs fans will be before the game, a decent pub would be good. I am very familiar with the area as I have a lot of family there and am there about 2 or 3 times a year. However, we usually go to Old Montreal or something before the game, I would prefer something closer to the arena.
well then you go to HF29's hangout - Hurley's. Crescent bewteen Ste Cath and Rene Levesque on the west side. great pub, lots of people, lots of habs fans
east side, sorry
That is good, I think I will go there. I am going with non-traditional hockey fans......
It is different from my regular trips where I travel with only Habs fans. I want to show them the whole Habs experience.
5-1, two points, Carey Price somehow manages to play a decent game with Halak on the bench instead of Huet, and the Sens just got shut out. Can't argue with that.
1 point out of the East 2nd seed kids
wings for everyone!
With the points Higgins picked up (so far) tonight, I believe the Habs now have 7 players with 40 points or more. I'm pretty sure that makes them the only NHL team to have as many players with as many points.
Damion the stat-head! nice
speaking of Higgins, is the old #1 line back together for good now?
I dunno, but the old #1 line was looking good tonight.
The dude in front of us was harshing Koivu all 1st/part of 2nd period... Being a typical 110% accolyte. And then, Koivu turned it on. He left in disgust before the three stars were announced, and said to his girlfriend: "On décâlisse, j'veux rien savoir de voir Koivu avec une étoile."
It warmed the very cockles of my heart... perhaps even the subcockle area (maybe in the liver, maybe in the kidneys... we don't know). (Beer for whomever gets that reference)
Speaking of schazenfreude - anyone else think that Atlanta is kicking itself for not picking up a goalie in their Hossa fire sale?? Heh.
^^ for whoever - not whomever.
(Sorry - I'll put the militant grammarian away now... She's such a tiresome bitch... ;-) )
LG77, you're implying that you're an asshole. I'll take that beer now.
Yup, matt's got it. Kudos.
