Any excuse to post Elisha. Oh Sean, we've missed you

Elisha doesn't look so happy about Sean Avery going back to the Rangers.

We swear, if a trade happens, we'll tell you. If you missed the comments in the last thread, the news is that Chips went back to Hamilton and Halak is too sick to play tomorrow. And Tanguay should be back in action this Friday.

Back to my nap.

Elisha is good, but the prowlette is hot, hot, hot.

As per Maguire, Habs could take on a $3M player before moving some salary.

In 29 we trust ...

Ron Fournier:
Rumor has Nylander to Montreal...

What did McGuire say exactly?

Cap space allows habs to take on a $3M/year salary before they have to make room.

No name or speculations, just cap availability.

So for Nylander at 4.2M, Habs would need to get rid of 1.2M in salary.

I'd make cap space for the prowlette.

That prowlette is like the Nashville Predators... she causes my league to expand. *ducks as everyone throws stuff*

Nylander? Don't we already have 18 third-line centres?

Word verification: "imisa", as in "Imisa Robert Lang"

Interesting stat: Roberto Luongo has won 11 of last 12 starts.

A certain 3-0 win comes to mind...

@ SSHF
Didn't Lang start the season as our third line centre? Not saying Nylander's a great choice, just saying that maybe it's time for an underachiever to coem to the Habs and wake his game up (instead of the other way around).

And I'm surprised nobody's said it already, but wouldn't you be even a liiiiitle bit nostalgic to have Recchi back?

I think we need a daily thread where you post hot women in hopes that other playoff or near-playoff teams lose.

As I type, Pittsburgh, Florida and Carolina are all winning, and Philly is tied. The closest teams to a playoff spot actually losing are the Leafs and Sens, who have no chance.

I say hot babes until these teams are mathamatically eliminated. If Florida is playing Atlanta, then a post of a hot Atlanta woman is what is needed. Like [a href="http://s178.photobucket.com/albums/w247/Gilman924/week%204a/?action=view&current=babe22.jpg"]this one[/a].

@ Van Hab
I was about to post that Lang was once a top-line centre, had an 80-point and 30-goal season or two... but then looked it up and found out that Nylander has had the same. My bad. Still not sold on him, though...

I love Recchi - my 3rd favourite all-time Hab after Roy and Saku (hey, I was born in '89, I missed out on all the REAL Habs legends) - and would go for him in a second (he's Langlike in his consistency), but aren't we already overflowing at the wings? A big centre or a quality Dman (rather than MORE defensive depth) is what I'm hoping for.

To clarify, I'm not saying Roy and Saku aren't great Habs, just that my list is lacking in Beliveau, Richard, Shutt, etc for a reason.
