- Oh great, Leafs win again;
- Ryan Miller gets another shutout, over the Caps no less;
- Hawks come back to beat the Rangers in OT;
- Kipper and the Flames stay hot;
- St Louis shuts out Detroit;
- Those of you who have followed TMS' quest for TSN2 may be interested to know it finally showed up on our cable system yesterday! W00t! Until we realized it's totally lame and there's nothing on but curling and RERUNS OF THE FUCKING LEAFS GAME. GAH.

Hi all,
May I take this opportunity to add to your glossary - re: Pants As I live in the UK these days, I can add that "Pants" is used in tweo differnt forms over here - First and foremost it means "underwear" but more relevant to this blog - it means "shit" - As in, "OMG our defence this season is absolute pants!"
Glad to be of service.
Go Habs Go!
@HabsFan29
TSN2 actually seems pretty good. Perfect example is tonight. TSN 7pm: "That's Hockey" followed by "Olympics: Stars of Torino 2006". TSN2 7pm: Ottawa @ Philadelphia (LIVE)
Not bad?
May I, a fellow UK resident, add to kmaxx's comments.
"Our defence this season has been complete and utter pants, and our forwards enjoy long sticks of Blackpool rock."
That is all.
@les_glo, except 'That's Hockey" should be renamed 'That's Toronto Hockey and whatever else'.
TSN2 is alright when there are two different games on. But it often resorts to just airing the same programming as TSN but at different hours. I'm pretty sure it's included in Shaw's basic cable here out west, because I get it and sure as hell don't pay anything extra for it.
@Moeman: New Picture? A time for change?
@CH13, new century, new pic.
Spacek back in the lineup tonight!!
Red Fisher does a good piece on Chris Nilan in today's Gazette.
There may be some truth to the latest Lecavalier rumors... Eklund says that he's definitely not moving, so you know that something is up.
Cammaleri 8 goals tonight. Tier one. Top gun actor.
Apparently the Ryan White snafu is gonna cost the Habs a six-figure fine. From what I can find online, the typical fine for a head-shot or slew-foot ranges from $1000 to $2500.
So - forgetting to officially register a callup with the NHL (despite the fact that it's on every sports site as soon as it happens) is at least 100 times worse than potentially ending someone's career. Nice, NHL.
I guess they have to support the Coyotes somehow, though.
@Kmaxxx & Gordon B - thanks for the Pants explanations. Funny thing was, I swear I always thought it was GOOD, like, "Oh, man, that meth was pants!"
@Ronan: The League just wants part of the Centennial pie.
