- Mondo action from the teams surrounding the Habs in the clusterfuck last night. Just above us, Ottawa apparently decided to use the Habs game as a springboard for the rest of the season, beat the Phlyers by a 2-0 score. Just below us, Bs cool off the Thrash with a 4-0 win. Not sure if either result is good or bad. At least neither game went to OT;
- Panthers cling to some playoff hope after beating the Leafs;
- Bolts' playoff chances are even slimmer, but at least they finally won a game;
- We're sure a bunch of games were played in the West;
- The NHL Board of Govs passes a rule about hits to the head, but the NHLPA seems to be stalling on it. Down Goes Brown does his usual killer job of explaining why (lap dance to ezzelohar).

Since when is TFS™ old.
Go you fucking Habs!
The results last night are good for Mtl. The Trash loss drops their % of making the playoff from 38% to 21%. Hence they are less likely to overtake the Habs to get the 8th spot. Also that loss shows they can't step up and win the games needed to get them in. (Like us last year).
Ottawa winning keeps Philly at 79 points tied with the Habs. Habs should aim at 6th spot as it will have them facing Buffalo in the first round. Is that a good thing? We'll find out tonight.
Talk about pathetic fallacy. Habs on a roll and temperatures skyrocket to 19 degrees in the middle of March. Now that we suck again it snows. It all makes sense.
@29
Go unpack your winter clothes.
Great! I hope TFS goes on a roll (come to think of it he probably already ATE the roll!). Nothin' like a spliff smokin', beer swillin', skirt chasin', buffet fressin' cowboy in the nets for a change. Give me TFS's lifestyle over Jaro anyday!
@Howard&GG, "spliff smokin', beer swillin', skirt chasin', buffet fressin' cowboy", sounds like 29, who's 'winter clothes' is likely just a thicker pair of oven mitts.
New faces in, eh? TFS, Da Squid, and the Urologist. Moen is out, due to his face getting Slap Chopped in his last game. I fully expect him to come back looking like Nick Cage or John Travolta.
To keep with the rules of the comment sections:
1) Fuck Buffalo
2) For you mobile users: www.spankwire.com (nsfw...go figure)
3) Goddammit, the Laffs and the Bruins suck more than a jonesing crack whore.
Go Habs, BitCHes!!!
Reminds me of when Johnny Carson hosted the Oscars one year, he says "I see a lot of new faces in the audience tonight, and I see a lot of new faces on old faces." Classic.
@moey cymbal crash for effect: ptsssshhhh!
A chance to step up on the hapless Flyers tonight. I watched them yesterday, they looked like the Habs on Monday only more muscle. They still got manhandled by Andy Sutton.
Go Habs!
I'm not sure how I feel about all this "let's face Buffalo". I fear a good goaltender in the playoffs much more so than a team of talented scorers. Part of me would feel more comfortable facing Washington...
Also, not that I want another lap dance, but if you're looking for more laughs (or lulz, if you're from the Internet), look no futher.
