@E - i really like that post because it made me laugh. but i have to disagree with one thing: carey. carey IS to blame. he does not shoulder ALL of the blame, but certainly some of it.
games 1 and 3 were both one goal games (if you ignore the empty-netters, which, ya should). i can say with great confidence that carey let in at least one softy in each of those games. subtract said softy and you've potentially got a tie game going into overtime. then it's up to your skaters to put one in (which unfortunately, is a different matter altogether). in game 2, carey let in a few softies. of course, indiscipline played the biggest part in our loss in that game, but we need a goalie to steal a game or two and we're not getting it.
in the end it doesn't matter how many amazing saves your goalie makes if he lets in one or two weak ones. thomas is getting the job done. carey isn't. it's just the sad truth.
i also feel i should point out that i am actually a big carey price fan. but i also think that your #1 goalie needs to earn that title, and for this season, the guy who comes closest to having done that is jaro.

Nothing is more annoying in politics - something to which I work closely each day - than people claiming majority status in their opinions.

I'm guessing many feel the same way I do. My head wants this painful season to be over, so as to allow me to enjoy the likes of Ovechkin and Luongo from an unbiased perspective. However, my heart will always want one more win, especially in these pitiful circumstances.
Given that none of us follows sport, especially a team like the Habs, with our heads, why the hell not hope for one last reason to cheer?
Also, if you need logic, here goes: I cannot stomach the thought of Saku leaving the ice for the final time as a Hab to boos (whether directed at him or the entire team). I firmly believe that this is his last season in the CH and while this year's version has neither the talent nor the fortitude to earn him the send-off he deserves, my last wish for this season is that he doesn't make his exit to boos.
